Founders & Entrepreneurs hire me to build visibility, structure & generate organic leads for their businesses• Over 5,000 Investors trust me to double their wealth through real estate• Forbes Member •Building ASE
We took an evening stroll on Sunday evening just to enjoy the air and beauty of the environment. And then we noticed that almost every store outlet along the major road was into the same type of business. Before we walked a distance, we would see another store offering the same services as the one we left behind. The noticeable thing among all of them was the fact that they were all empty. No customers, nothing was happening! This was expected because the area had become overly saturated by people doing the same thing hence they ended up exhausting the available population who would have patronized them. Before you launch your business and open a physical office/store, ensure you have studied the potential of that area with regard to your business success. It is more advisable that you have your physical store 2 streets or more away from your competitor. That way, you can have a grip over the population on that axis without worries. What's your take on this? Have you ever noticed this trend around you? Kindly share in the comments. PS: A new set of student graduated from my 10X Challenge Training yesterday and yes, they are set to crush their business strategy & visibility game. Cohort 2 is open and we will be going live on the 15th of this Month. Join us using the link- https://selar.co/6101b1

Dyer’s Coaching Report Barnes & Noble, the largest bookstore chain in the US, is a case study for businesses looking to learn from successful strategies. While every business faces unique challenges, there are key lessons to be learned from Barnes & Noble's journey that can benefit other companies in the retail industry. Firstly, Barnes & Noble recognized the impact of technology on the book industry and developed its own e-reading platform, Nook, to compete with digital books. This shows the importance of embracing technology and finding ways to incorporate it into your business model, especially if it disrupts your industry. Secondly, Barnes & Noble expanded its product offerings beyond books to include toys, games, gifts, and stationery. This diversification helped them attract a broader customer base and generate additional revenue streams. The lesson here is to be open to exploring new product lines or services that align with your target market and can provide growth opportunities. Thirdly, Barnes & Noble invested in creating a unique and inviting in-store experience, with comfortable seating areas, cafes, and events. They prioritized customer engagement and community building. This highlights the importance of focusing on the overall customer experience and finding ways to differentiate your business from online retailers or competitors. Fourthly, Barnes & Noble formed strategic partnerships with companies like Samsung to enhance their offerings. This demonstrates the value of collaborating with other businesses to create innovative products or services that can benefit both parties. Seeking partnerships can help expand your reach and capabilities. Finally, Barnes & Noble actively engaged with local communities through book clubs, author events, and supporting educational initiatives. This emphasis on community involvement can build customer loyalty and establish a strong presence in the areas you serve. It underscores the significance of connecting with your target audience and understanding their needs. By understanding and applying the lessons learned from Barnes & Noble's strategies, businesses can better navigate the rapidly changing business landscape and increase their chances of survival and success. #adaptation #strategy #success #business #marketdemand

Strategic #schoolsafety leaders understand that there is no 'standardized template' for a one-size-fits-all PreK-12 #schoolsecurity. Some vendors would like #schoolleaders to believe there are because that fits their sales and marketing strategies to pitch their products. But a checklist, cookie cutter approach will not work. Each school is unique. If you've seen one, you've seen one - not them all. Those who get it, understand school safety. #superintendents #schoolboards #principals #SROs

I loved getting around to the solution providers at Shoptalk in Barcelona this week. One area I was interested in was the physical stores as a Retail Strategist I can see particularly in the Irish market the need for: ✅ Brand Activation Tools so that Retailers can drive more engagement that leads to an increase in Conversion Rates and Footfall two crucial KPIs that impact Average Basket Spend and Units Per Customer. ✅ Workforce Management Solutions I spoke to a company that is supporting in driving more automation and streamlining operational tasks for Store and District/Area Managers. This will increase productivity targets per capita head and also support in the labour shortages that has been a real challenge and continues to be. ✅ CX and EX Solutions I spoke to the founder Niek Koning below 👇 from Secret View on how his company is supporting physical stores in enhancing the customer journey. I came across this company in 2019 when working with a brand and I loved the ethos of the product. They have built an online community of Mystery Shoppers. These Mystery Shoppers are local to the area and do the mystery shop to get payment through product purchases so it’s a win win for the Retailer as they will drive more brand sales through this approach as they increase brand awareness and build a base of new customers or increase brand loyalty through existing customers. The dashboard of the mystery shopper is user friendly having used this myself in stores. It supports the HR and L&D function in a company where they can target specific areas of the mystery shop that will drive a collective result across a group of stores or in a specific region. For anyone in the Retail sector struggling to find time or staff a lot of these solutions and others will help: 👉drive efficiencies and improve costs associated with staff shortages within stores. 👉 drive an ROI on key KPIs Conversion, ATV, IPC within stores. 👉 increase staff retention and engagement within stores. 👉 measure the effectiveness of the customer experience journey in stores. At Shoptalk Europe in Barcelona, Louise Lally Training Academy visited our booth and interviewed me about Secret View’s innovative approach and how retail trainers can use our data to set up modular training programs for store employees. Here's a little sneak peak! 😄🎥 #shoptalkeurope #mysteryshopping #retailtraining
