Don’t forget to take an accepted form of photo ID with you to the polling station on July 4. 🪪 Your ID must be the original version (photocopies, scans and pictures on phones are not accepted), but you can use out of date photo ID as long as it still looks like you and has the name you used to register to vote. If you don’t have accepted voter ID, you can apply for a free voter ID document before 5pm on 26 June. With just a few days until the deadline, the easiest way to apply is online. The link is in the comments below, along with information about photo ID accepted in polling stations. 🔗

Talk about innovation. Long before the internet and smartphones, AP started sending photos from around the world to its member newspapers an incredible 90 years ago. I’m looking forward to this series.
