Here's a brief overview of the concept of human rights by the organization that created TED Talks. Human rights remain contested in many places 75+ years after the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by an international committee led by Eleanore Roosevelt. Yet I believe the attempt to establish a global standard that values and protects all human life equally is a noble one. What do you think? https://lnkd.in/eDwa3rT2

"public importance" with particular reference to fundamental rights... The connotation of the expression “public importance” which is tagged to the enforcement of the Fundamental Rights as a pre-condition of the exercise of the power, should not be understood in a limited sense, but in the gamut of the constitutional rights of freedoms and liberties, their protection and invasion of such freedoms in a manner which raises a serious question regarding their enforcement. Such matters can be viewed as of public importance, whether they arise from an individual’s case touching his human rights of liberty and freedom, or of a class or a group of persons as they would also be legitimately covered by this expression. #publicimportance #fundamentalrights #excerciseofpower

Anita--so much of the credit for this is due to your leadership, especially for something which does not show up in these impressive metrics. From the founding of BHRJ, you have tirelessly worked to bring global diversity to the BHRJ board. This work-in-progress excellence in diversity is as much your legacy as BHRJ's academic excellence.

While freedom of speech is enshrined in human rights, it comes hand-in-hand with the responsibility to express ourselves respectfully and ethically online. Reputation management involves managing your online presence responsibly while acknowledging and respecting the rights of others. Choose your words carefully, engage in constructive dialogue, and remember the potential impact your words can have on others. This mindful approach fosters a healthier online environment. #AmbaniRPM #TheBestThereIs #PublicRelations #ReputationManagement
