These developments are in line with the ultimate purpose of unifying the profession. My worry is always around the fact that prosecutors who play a key role in the criminal justice system are often left out of the discussions. It seems as though they are not given full recognition as lawyers. These are my observations, if you hold a different view please share your thoughts.

Someone asked me in the Q & A Session in Instagram whether a person should start his/her own practice in High Court after giving certain period of time in District Court. According to me, yes after giving a certain amount of time in District Court, you can start your practice in High Courts and if manageable you can even practice both in Districts as well as High Court. What are your views on this, please share.

After reviewing the damage caused by the ongoing shortage of court reporters, the Los Angeles Superior Court decided that to protect the constitutional rights of litigants, it would allow judges to approve electronic recording of some court proceedings.
