Happy Transparent Thursday!! Who do you prioritize? Is it yourself, your children, your job, your friends, people who make you feel needed, things, etc. Depending on your attachment style your answer may differ. One thing I will say is that when we put any of those things before God, we will never have joy, peace or happiness. We should prioritize what God wants in our lives and be open as he guides us on paths, we may not have pictured ourselves on. God has purpose even when we don’t understand, and it is much better than the plans that we could form in our own hearts. When we prioritize things, people and dissatisfaction over what God wants for us it’s called idolatry and God does not want this for us. He wants us to align with what He believes is a priority, so today, ask God if you are in alignment with Him? Ensure that the things you are making a priority in your life is what God wants. Many of us strive to be happy, make others happy and want to live a good life. But when you are deciding everything yourself without God you will always fall on your face. If we run to God first and allow Him to go before us, He will align our priorities up in our relationships, finances, experiences and opportunities. We are sinful creatures and we listen to everything and everyone else about how we should do things or live , but when we are not prioritizing God and His wants we are literally sinning in His Face! Go to work with the blessing spoken over your life. Prophetic declarations are powerful words that serve as an instruction to go ahead and finish that which God has already finished in the spirit realm. For instance, when you receive a prophetic declaration like "This is your year of manifestation", it is an instruction to start that venture, get up and determine your life. Similarly, "The year of light" means intentionally stepping out of ignorance and using every present light to get better in life. So, if you've received a prophetic declaration like "The year of NOW!" it means you must be present daily to determine how your life eventually turns out; and stop being comfortable, letting your life flow whichever way it likes. When you are called to do great things what the devil will try and do is bring disruption and distraction in your life so you don't get to finish what God started in you and therefore we need to seek God in matters that involve his purpose for our life. We pray for things we think we need the most and we go into complex long prayers that sometimes have nothing to do with where God wants us. We can tend to overlook the simplicity of just asking God to help us overcome the now to get to the next. What do you feel God is calling you to do but you keep coming against self sabotaging behaviour that disrupt your progress? In order to walk in our purpose we need to maintain discipline and consistency which let's be honest can be very hard but that's why seeking God in this matter as well to overcome procrastination and inconsistency is important. My word to you today is focus on finishing what God has started in you because the end lies your harvest. "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." - Hebrews 12:11. Who are you and whose are you? I was once in a situation where I was stalked with life's challenges and someone wanted to make me feel I'm to be blamed. You don't have to loose your self-esteem just because of a temporal circumstance. Even when you don't get the respect you deserve, stay less bothered and have the determination to rise above the situation. Don't let the opinion of others about you define who you are or determine your worth. When life throws us for a loop, it’s easy to doubt ourselves, God’s plan, even God Himself. But when we’re hurt, disappointed or frustrated by our thwarted plans, we need to take a second and remember who we are and how valuable we are to God You're worth more than anyone's perception of you. Difficult Moments In Life Are Sometimes God’s Way Of Building You Up You may think that the problems you are facing right now are too hard for you to handle, but what if God is teaching you how to endure. What if He is building you up into a better person? Sometimes, we need to go through some pain so that we will be able to fully internalize the lessons that God wanted us to learn, or perhaps He is just strengthening our faith. What if He purposely allowed us to experience suffering so that we will learn to trust Him more than the people around us. It may be hard for you to overcome your situation, but take heart. God is transforming you into a better person. Not all problems will destroy you. Some of them will build your strength on the inside. God will use the situations around you to teach you how to persevere in life. It will prepare you for the things that are too wonderful for you to comprehend. You may not understand it right now, but someday you will. Do not base your faith according to your situation. Focus on who God is in your life because that’s how you will grow and prosper. God’s ways are always mysterious. You may find it hard to fathom the things that God is doing in your life. But all you need to do is to simply trust Him. I know that it’s not an easy thing because, after all, we are just human. We also feel disappointed sometimes. But even though we are not perfect, we can always choose to glorify God even in suffering. We just have to stay with Him, no matter what happens. You may not feel His presence but just learn to commit yourself to the Lord, and you will overcome everything. He is introducing more of Himself to you. In every challenge that you face, God presents you with another character He wanted you to learn. Sometimes, He will be your teacher, your mentor, your coach, your lover, or He will just stay with you like a friend. He will make you feel that He is everything that you could’ve asked for. He will not waste all your hardships. After the pain, you will realize that God allowed you to experience more of Him.

Ditch your New Year's resolution and do this! You create a New Year's resolution every year, and by the year's end, you attempt to assess your achievements and progress. At times, you realize you've made more progress than achievements, leading to frustration directed at yourself and even toward God. While it's not wrong to be upset with yourself, it's unfair to direct anger at God. Instead, you should look at prioritizing and involving God in every little detail. Involving God helps you commit to the right things and see it through. This births better results and fulfilment. 🥳 It's the second day of the year, which means you still have time to review your resolutions and involve God in them.
