I called my bank recently to ask about their currency exchange options. I asked if I could get some euros today. Absolutely, said the friendly customer service rep. Great, I said. What do I need to do? She told me I just needed to go into my branch and tell them I wanted euros. And I can get the euros today? Oh, no, she said. You can come in today to order the euros. Then you can pick them up in 7-10 business days. I now think about switching banks regularly, probably due to joining Travis Liebig to build ATTY Financial, a digital banking platform for law firms. But I've got a problem. Switch to what? Switching is only worth it if I have a better option to switch to. And when it comes to banks, I’m not sure I do. Do you think about switching banks? Do you have any options that are better than others?
