Time is a such a critical issue for us all as humans and comes up so much in coaching. I’m really looking forward to exploring what this means for me as a coach, business owner, parent, partner, and friend. To many of us, time is nothing more than a series of moments. But look at it through the eyes of a behavioural scientist and you'll see it holds untold influence: the more we understand how we are shaped by time, the more intentional we can be about how we spend it. Our relationship with frames of time is also really important. Make sure that your healthcare communications are focussed on your audience. Sounds obvious, right? But so many companies make it about themselves or their brand(s). Why should your customers care? How does your offering actually make life easier for healthcare professionals and their patients? It's about them, not you. A great example from the world of entertainment came from the Barbie winners at the Golden Globes this week. Barbie was the biggest movie of 2023, grossing a cool $1.44 billion. The highest scoring make up the shortlist and are screened at the Awards event. - The host agency’s senior producers & creatives decide the final Awards winners. - Winners are promoted publicly across Shiny’s extensive & highly focused comms. - Every longlisted entry is added to the Shiny List. - Eligible entries can include signed & off-roster directors, as long as that director has never worked on a commercial, brand content or music video with a budget over £50k. - There are no separate categories - work can be any genre & type, including TikTok videos, but must be under 5 mins runtime

Our CEO, Starr Million Baker, was recently featured in a Forbes article discussing complaints commonly shared by new clients about their previous agencies and how to use this information to build stronger partnerships. Her key takeaway? Agencies must remain proactive. 💬 "Clients leave agencies because they have become reactive and stale. They wait for the client to tell them what to do, but the client has hired them to provide proactive guidance. This misalignment causes frustration and, eventually, agency turnover. Agencies have got to remember that clients hire them for their outside perspective and expertise. They must stay in a proactive state."
