Did you know that The Biggar Gin Co Ltd also makes a delicious Asian Spiced Rum? No? Well, now you do... this was a quick video I made for them recently. Watch the gooey molasses drip into a jar with some music playing in the background, the bottle lit from the back... ooh rum! Well that's what goes on my head when I watch it. As it seeks to connect with younger drinkers in Latin America, Coors Light has teamed up with Ozuna, one of the region’s top pop stars. The Puerto Rican reggaeton star, whose songs regularly top the charts, recently released a new song inspired by Coors Light. The beer brand is featured prominently in the music video for the bouncy “Chill Conmigo,” which shows a stressed office worker, played by Ozuna, wishing he could get outside to chill with his friends, whether it’s poolside or on the side of the Rocky Mountains with a Coors Light flag planted at the peak. The partnership with Ozuna, who claims more than 47 million followers across social media platforms, includes retail components, a special can featuring the musician, ads and a sweepstakes where consumers can enter for a chance to win prizes. It has parallels in the U.S., where Miller Lite's teamed up with reggaeton star J Balvin to win over more Latino drinkers. Part of a larger program called “Ritmo Chill,” which urges consumers to relax with good music and a cold Coors Light, it’s aimed at increasing consideration for Coors Light among younger legal-age drinkers in Latin America. The brand’s strongest market is Puerto Rico, but it’s making a play in other countries, including Panama, Mexico, and Honduras. Watch the video here: https://bit.ly/3OMCnuq

Applying Marketing Science (how marketing ACTUALLY works) to Festivals & Events - creating effective marketing that grows brands and ultimately, achieves business results.
I experienced this first hand the other day, with a meal out. I’d never been to Flat Iron before, but they clearly understand the Peak End Rule. Well, they also know the importance of first impressions; with a tasty bowl of popcorn served up as soon as we sat down. But fast forward to the bill, and accompanying it came some mini cleavers, which turned out to be tokens for free (and really good) ice-cream. Yeah, I remember the highlight - the steak. But that ice-cream finish also stands out, and sure did help shape the way I (positively) remembered the overall experience I had! The lesson for festivals and events? You may not be able to shape and influence everyones peak ‘most intense’ points (the highlights), but you sure can try and do something when the time comes for them to leave. And what with the importance of immediately selling tickets for next year's event to this year's customer, the Peak End Rule is something you need to give some attention to. #Festivals #Events #FestivalMarketing #EventMarketing

Sensory in Marketing is now new but it is fascinating to realise the power sounds have on us. Schools told to read books loudly as listening increases retention. Remember more, memorise effectively! Sounds, voice, music, noise and many other names instantly teleports our mind to the era we had seen and lived. Reminds of the emotions felt on first instance of a musical tune. Memories of the past seem fresh and as new. Ambience of a lounge becomes popular cause of the type of music it plays. Instantly calms or energises. Builds a character. Remember these jingles?? https://lnkd.in/dJMKw9A9 Which is your favourite adn what does it remind you of?

No one likes drinking alone. And the busier your taproom, the more each guest will spend. We analyzed thousands of taproom visits to see how the perceived level of busyness correlates to how much guests spend. Guests spent 38% more in packed taprooms compared to empty taprooms from 2017 to 2022. At one point, it was simply about the beer. Then the word 'experience' crept in. 'Experience' refers to every little aspect that contributes to a guest having a more memorable time. Their experience could be enhanced by something as basic as the music playing or something as extravagant as a decked-out anniversary celebration. See how by consistently facilitating and delivering these wow moments, you can see a busier taproom with higher tabs and more smiles.
