Back in April, our team participated in the EU Dialogue in Brussels, focused on driving positive change within the Meeting Industry. Organized by visitbrussels, in collaboration with JMIC Joint Meetings Industry Council, City Destinations Alliance | CityDNA, and the European Exhibition Industry Alliance. 🔹 Why was this important? The Forums of CEO Clubs Greece are not merely thought-provoking but they also aspire to connect #theory with #practice, ensuring that the keynote speakers' presentations can be successfully applied in real business life. Hence, at the end of each Forum, top CEOs - Club members take the floor and analyze relevant examples, experiences, concerns, best practices, and challenges, building a much-needed bridge between the #what and #why with the #how. Following this practice, the 32nd Forum of the Club that took place on the 25th of April concluded with a vibrant #panel discussion among five CEO Clubs members – namely, Christina Alevizou, Achilleas Aggelopoulos, Fotini Karageorgi, Iakovos Michalitsis, and Andonis Papagiannakopoulos – moderated by Dr. Polydefkis Loukopoulos. The discussion focused on “Trust Applied” and, through examples of practical experiences and expertise, the panelists explored how trust can further support and reinforce high-performance leadership. All CEOs agreed that trust is paramount in both our professional and personal lives and is built with daily effort over time. Trust depends on consistency, authenticity, and reliability and is supported by the individuals’ characters, the company’s culture, innovative processes and procedures, and the leadership’s commitment to nurturing trust among all stakeholders (employees, suppliers, customers, shareholders, and investors). This week, we successfully hosted our second Global Town Hall Meeting for 2024, bringing together over 1,700 colleagues from around the world. 👏 Organizing an event of this scale – both logistically and content-wise – is no small feat, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone “behind the scenes” for making it all happen over the course of the past weeks. 🏆 🌟 Esther Schmotz, Katharina Erdwig, Jan-Niklas Schilling, Stine Behrens, Jennifer Tress and Elena Flock 🌟 From planning the agenda to ensuring seamless execution, and the many steps in between, every detail was designed to connect Executive Board members with the Global Hannover Re team.
