Mind Your Business Everywhere you look you're seeing so-called evidence of people winning all around you. You see posts on social media where people post their highlights. You see them post their cars and in some cases their jets. They seem to do nothing but travel and enjoy life, while you're grinding away each day trying to make it all work. It's easy to scratch your head and ask yourself "how they hell can they do it for amount?" when you lose a project to a cheaper contractor. All of these things can be frustrating and can make you second-guess yourself and wonder, "WTF am I doing wrong?" Mind your business. This is one key to winning at high levels. Stop comparing your blooper reels to everyones highlights. Stop giving a shit about what others charge. Stop giving attention to anything that takes your focus off of what you need to do each day. You do you. I've found through the past 25 years that I will never know the whole story behind someone else's "success." I've seen people on top of the world, sharing about how great their businesses are fall quickly. I've seen gurus running events and programs talking about how to be a great married couple get divorced out of nowhere. I've seen under the hood of many businesses that the world would think that all is well and I can tell you some stories of chaotic numbers, culture and struggle. Mind your business. Tell your story. Do your numbers. Be married in the way that serves both you and your spouse the most. Yes, learn from others. Imitate the mindsets and actions of people who are more successful than you are in whatever area of life or business that you want to improve. Just make sure you listen to your gut and understand that everyone has ugly shit going on. Every business has seasons of struggle when it comes to cash flow, lead flow, operations and employee problems. Every couple has their crap too. Nobody has it all together. I don't. You don't. They don't. Anyone telling you different is full of shit.

The reason your business feels heavy right now isn’t because you aren’t doing enough to grow it. I know you have a high drive to make your business a smashing success. God has given you a BIG vision to achieve & you’re determined to faithfully steward it. The success of your business isn’t just about making more money. Ultimately, it’s about hearing that “Well done, good & faithful servant,” when you are face-to-face with God in heaven. But ⚠️putting pressure on yourself to make that happen ⚠️agreeing to take on clients because they can pay you, but who aren’t a perfect match ⚠️saying yes to “opportunities” that don’t connect you with your dream client or best referral partners ⚠️absorbing all the expert advice from people who promise to help you grow your business, but never stop to ask what God has been telling you… is only wearing you out. Until you stop striving in your business, detach your identity from what you achieve & eliminate distractions that pull you from where God calls you to focus, overwhelm will continue to be your middle name. Having a business that feels light & IS a light is not only possible. It’s been ordained by God. But instead of working HARDER, you need to get clear on what God is asking of you. And what He isn’t. When you start working in tandem WITH HIM, your business no longer feels like a burden. You also experience the joy and confidence that comes from knowing you’re EXACTLY where you’re meant to be. It’s a promise from God you can bank on. Take one of my client’s who hired me to help her align her business with God inside The Business Detox(tm) for example & ended up 5xing her investment with me in only 6 weeks of getting started. The very first thing I did with her is give God the mic & crank up the volume so she knew she confidently was hearing Him about her business strategies. Mission accomplished in one session. 🙌🏼 From there, we worked on eliminating anything in her business that wasn’t aligned with where God was leading her, re-rooted her identity in Christ NOT her achievements, and focused on the methods & messages she needed to serve clients that are a dream for her to work with. If you’re ready to experience a business that is run by God, not overrun with overwhelm, reach out to ask me about applying for a spot in The Business Detox(tm) #christianbusinesscoach #pcc #mentorcoach #kingdombusiness #christianentrepreneurs

Since the words ‘business’ and ‘growth’ were discovered, there have only been 2 ways to grow any business. Doesn’t matter if it’s an agency, a bakery, or a restaurant… This is a universal rule. It applies to Every. Single. Business. And most companies only focus on one, because the other is too complex. But in reality, it’s not. It just requires some brain calories to figure stuff out. Some actual effort first — but then, it will run on autopilot. After you read this article, you’ll know exactly how to grow your business and make your profit margins much higher. The never-ending cycle Most businesses focus on one thing, and one thing only, when it comes to ‘generating money’ or ‘profit.’ And that’s their cold leads. Like a religion. They try to convert everyone into a warm, then to a hot lead, and finally… into a customer. After that, poof… they disappear. Gone with the wind. They already have what they want, right? So why would you focus on someone who already bought from you? Nonsense… Then the customer leaves and goes elsewhere. Here’s a tough pill to swallow… the customer is not at fault, it’s the business owner who’s at fault. It’s like landing a girlfriend/boyfriend, whatever you’re into, and once you’re together… you stop caring about them. Weird, isn’t it? And if the relationship fails, it’s obvious why it did. Well, it’s the same thing with businesses. You have to focus on both things: getting a partner AND caring about them. So if it’s so obvious in dating, then why isn’t it the same in business? Don’t forget: business is life, and life is business. The empty bed syndrome READ MORE... https://lnkd.in/eFdc3b3U

So many business owners say they work ridiculous hours to support their family and claim their family is their top priority. Sorry, but I do not believe this. Our actions show our top priorities. Your actions show work is your top priority. Your family wants more time with you. Your family wants to make memories. Your kids want you at their games. You can spin the hours you work any way you choose, but your family feels a different story. Sure, they will respect your work ethic, and that is important. But, your work ethic does not show them the love and attention they desire. I am not judging you if you need to work crazy hours for your business to survive or to support the lifestyle you have created. I have experienced it. I am saying that you can do better and that you need to do better. Or, live with the regret once your kids are grown and your marriage is a shell of what it used to be. There is a better way to run your business, while still being highly profitable. It often takes an outside view and voice to help you see that better way. I still focus on being profitable, but do not sacrifice my family or my personal time. I only coach small business owners. It is my passion. If you are ready to figure out a better way to have the business you want along with the life you want, visit my profile and click the link to book a free strategy session. Together, we can figure out a better way.

To build a high growth business, there are some personal habits you must unlearn or deal with today. One of such personal habits is the self-limiting way that you view, discuss, or negotiate numbers. You desire high growth, but then you are always intimidated to negotiate or discuss numbers. For example, you want to grow, but as soon as you hear, say, 10 or 100 million, your brain shuts down. Even N1 million makes some people agitated. You begin to shake or your words begin to lose their coordination or flow because of money mentioned. In some cases, you cannot even look people straight in the eyes and talk serious numbers. You are so scared to negotiate numbers. Instead, you end up feeling like if you negotiate, they would consider you to be a bad or ungrateful person. Or you feel undeserving of it. Stop it! You are only sabotaging yourself. Many times, how we were raised as kids can create a mental conditioning of self-limitation to boot. Some of our parents taught us that money is scarce and therefore it is available to some chosen ones. That's nonsense! That's a mental stronghold we must break free from Yeah, I understand the fact that growth is in levels and maybe you are not there yet. I understand you going through process. I understand you starting small. However, you must constantly train your mind to hear and see big numbers and still reason straight. Comport yourself. Be comfortable around digits. It is okay for you to be where you are, but it is not okay for you to remain where you are and not grow. There's more out there. So choose today to make it your daily habit to work out the financial muscles of your mind and emotion. Even if you have not earned big numbers yet, learn to familiarise yourself with big numbers and figures. Use the exercise to stretch your mind. Use it to prepare your mental field ahead. Force your mind to get used to high-voltage conversations that involve money and wealth. When you find yourself feeling uncomfortable where abundance is being discussed, bind the de*vil fast! Listen... To build a high growth business, you must learn how to bury yourself in abundance and big numbers Learn to create room in your brain for more.

Does your label really tell your story? Does it share your essence? It can often feel like all that’s missing is the right label to make the pieces drop into place. Yet more often than not, it’s the search for the right label that blocks that exact thing. The label that really fits you doesn’t exist yet. Labels are a search for patterns and direction. Nothing more. They are a shorthand way of trying to explain who you are and what you do in a neat two or three words. ENFP, CEO, Parent, Partner, Spouse, Introvert, Extrovert… The list of labels is long when you get down to it. Labels don’t define you or give you clarity. The more you cling to them the more they end up suffocating your natural growth. There comes a time when you will need to drop the label and begin your quest to tell your story and build your future story through your business in a different way. At that time, all the parts of you that have not found a place within your business will crowd around you asking to be integrated. Nothing will make sense anymore and the path out will elude you (for a while). The chances are high that you will be considering burning your business to the ground. The only way to move forward is to get back to your beginning and re-weave the threads of your self and business into a new stream of expression that shatters the old labels and defines the future of your field. That’s what is brewing inside of you. This level of discomfort is the prelude to a big, big change. In the near future, you will have to lean into it hard and do the work to create something that has not existed before, woven from every single part of you. When that time comes, I am here to guide you through. Reach out when you are ready.

"I was neglecting the needs of my family" "Everybody needs me more than my wife" "That mindset took me nearly to my grave" Business is hard. Those who say otherwise are either lying, or don't own one. But it's not impossible. Electricians, plumbers, landscapers, roofers etc. have been around for hundreds of years. There isn't a problem out there which doesn't have a known solution. So when you reflect on your business you have two choices. The first option is do nothing and let things compound until you've lost your business, your family, your sanity and even your life. Or you can pick up the phone like Mitch and start making changes TODAY. If you choose the second option, click the link below so we can start to build a personalized plan for how to make you the best business owner you can be. https://buff.ly/3wsPElw

Founder & CEO at Radical Evolution | Mental & Emotional Mastery | Coach to Aspiring Billionaires | 3x Business Owner | Expert Healer
Most business owners I work with started their business based on their passion. Regardless of what they do, the root passion is to help people in the area of their expertise. They want to take away peoples pain. They want people to experience love and connection. They want people to be healthy and strong. They want to provide a feeling of luxury or importance. They want to delight your senses. They want you to experience wonder, awe, curiosity… They want you to increase your bottom line. They want to see you win. The list goes on endlessly…. The problem is, most people get this passion too mixed up in their business practices and blur the lines. They take “no” personally because they poured their heart and soul into what they do. They try to groom their employees to be like them instead of what is best for the employee. They struggle with pricing people out of their market. They’re afraid of offending people. They expect others to care as much as they do. They hire the wrong people because they want to do them a solid. They let their ego get in the way and they pretend it isn’t their ego because it is out of “love and service.” Oye. This list goes on and on too. I’m here to help you to be simultaneously passionate about your work, but not get your emotions all mixed up in the game. This results in better decision making. Less burnout and exhaustion. Better more effective staff. More money in your pocket. And more time on your hands. Don’t sleep on the inner work. It literally changes your entire life

Obsessive-Compulsive...Better than Average Sales Dude, Speaker, Author & Mentor. If you want to sell more stuff I can help.
Let me start by telling you that this is going to be a different kind of story. It's funny but it deals with a sensitive matter. If you’re easily offended or embarrassed, move on. If you have a good sense of humor buckle up and laugh. My father and his older brother were not born in a hospital. It was the early 30’s and they were delivered at home. This was not unusual at the time and it was quite common in Clarkesville Georgia where they are from. A fairly routine procedure was not performed on either of them. I don’t want to be specific. Let’s just say that boys have it and girls don't. Both survived and enjoyed long lives. My uncle retired from the ministry and lived to be 83. My father retired from one of the large airlines and lived to be almost 90. . When my uncle was eight years old he was hospitalized for a tonsillectomy. As far as we know this was the first time any of our family spent time in a hospital. The doctor made the observation that a particular procedure had not been performed. Once again, boys get it, girls don’t. The physician asked my grandparents if they wanted to "take care of matters" while he was asleep. The answer was yes. My uncle wasn’t told, however. He didn’t know it was being discussed. He was there for a tonsillectomy. Fast forward a few hours. Eight year old Uncle Bob is waking up from his surgery. His throat is sore but so is something else. He is confused and frightened. He called for help and got the whole story. I don’t know what kind of conversation ensued. I can’t imagine his fear and confusion. Today there would be a story about a kid suing his parents. It was different in those days. Now why would I share this story? What does it have to do with business? Almost nothing! Stories are my gig. But it does give me a chance to complain about surprises. We are not in the surprise business. It’s safe to say that surprises that make it to clients almost always cost someone money. I’m confident that customers hire us with the hope of avoiding surprises. This simple fact should cause businesses to bear down on details. We should remember that we promised to return a phone call. We should deliver the product as expected; on time for the price we promised. It doesn't stop with the goods. Your delivery ticket and invoice matter. The little details demonstrate whether you are paying attention. The little things are big things. Surprises are bad in hospitals. They’re bad in business too. Our job is to keep them to a minimum. If we do, clients won’t surprise us by hiring someone else. It all ended well for my uncle. He recovered and lived a long and productive life. He ministered to many, performed hundreds of weddings, funerals and Sunday services. The experience had an impact on my dad too. He was hospitalized, once, at 64. When you asked how he managed to avoid it he responded, “I saw what they did to Bobby so I never complained about feeling bad.” Works for me. They were both characters.
