What Could You Accomplish? What would happen if you made it a habit to get uncomfortable every day? What could you accomplish if you focused more on your vision and goals than on your problems? Where would you be at the end of the next 90 days if you refused to be a victim? What would your profit look like if you committed to leading your team? What could you accomplish if you stopped giving a shit about what "they" think? What would your bank account look like if you were consistent in building your brand and selling unafraid? How much more confidence would you walk with if you started honoring the commitments you make to yourself? What would happen if you truly went to war with your negative self-talk? What would've you accomplished already if you didn't procrastinate? What would happen if you did that one thing you've been blowing off and made it a habit? There is a next level waiting for you. It will require focus, discipline, discomfort and consistency. You say you want to accomplish certain things.... Prove it.

Situations we live through today build better character for tomorrow. In life our situations give us a choice to become bitter or better. I used mine to become better. Embracing hardships creates beautiful relationships.
For as long as I’ve been in the car business there has been a personality test to take, I always landed on the empathetic side. I love my customers. I listen to their stories and really learn who they are as people. I tell them the truth for the circumstances. Sometimes I can do what they want. Sometimes we have to walk before we run. If we have to take small steps to get to tomorrow than we talk about it and set goals and walk that process together. Nobody should ever grow alone. While I can’t take that person’s circumstances away I can love them through it. I have never met anyone to understand that in this business. I am my “customer’s” biggest cheer leader. When they can’t finance I still call once a month to just talk… When that customer gets their income tax return who do you think they call? Business is about people. People call those that care about them. Loving people is shown by actions, not words. Words are empty without follow through.

This is why you should be upfront with your weaknesses. No one can fault you once they know them. Since it's not a secret. People can tell you what they think in front of your face. It’s simple but not easy. As Ray Dalio say. Recognise your blind spots and ego barrier. Self image is a big challenge we have had in the past. People in the team believing they are someone who they actually aren’t. Working with our self images has been by far the greatest thing we have done. It’s hard to spill the tea to someone that believe they are someone that they are not that person. At the end of the day if you want your team and company to grow. Does it make you bad person? - No Its the smart thing to do if you want to get results and for them to stay off long term. The more you track the more you will understand what you have to do for you to get results. Do you track numbers in your business? - Yes Do you track your numbers in your bank account? - Yes So why do you have shame attached & bury your head in the sand when it comes to your weight? So, if your avoiding tracking this morning because you maybe worried about what it might say- Get it done! Eliminate the drama & focus on the data- same tomorrow morning and keep going. ⚠️Learn from this mistake that have been making⚠️ I don't know who needs to hear this but... here it is. ⭐Nobody owes you anything, and you don't owe anybody anything ⭐ This principle has been holding me back for years. I thought business operated on doing favors for each other and it doesn't. Business should be a zero sum game (or potentially even net positive), goods for services. It's not about taking as much as you can from someone else, it's about trading what you have excess of in order to get what you need. I always felt like someone owed me something, oftentimes this is because I would do something for them. Recent Example: I underquoted my own project and tried to build the client a lambo for the budget of a scooter. I could have prevented us from moving forward together. Instead I tried to force it and said "we will make it work" and I couldn't make it work. I would put their needs second to my other clients. I thought I wasn't getting the value that I was worth from the deal, it didn't feel like it was fair. I would get frustrated, I thought they owed it to me, to forgive me if I was late for a meeting or something else that was my fault. (to those people I'm truly sorry, I'm still figuring it out) In truth they didn't owe me anything, It wasn't their fault. I owed myself, because I wasn't standing up for myself. Sometimes I would be too afraid to tell them they didn't have the budget and sometimes I was just flat out too greedy to say no to a job. I have been a poor employee and bad manager to myself. I wouldn't pay myself enough and then I would get upset when I felt short of my responsibility. I would be too afraid to ask for what was fair, and I would sit around and mope. I wanted as much money as possible, so I barely got enough to get by. Now I don't want a cent more than what what's fair. If I'm working with someone and they don't need my skillset and aren't willing or cant pay for that, that's ok. I don't want them to spend their money on me if they can get greater value from someone else. Sales calls now take care of themselves because I have nothing to hide. I'm 100000000% confident in everything I say, because I really believe every word coming out of my mouth. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm working on an admin/client dashboard right now. When it's finished, I will post the projects I have worked on and how much money I have charged for them. Ill even post my businesses bank statements, if I cant say where every dollar is going and why I need it, then don't give it to me.
