In the fast-paced corporate world, taking time to bond outside of work is crucial. Corporate team building picnics offer the perfect opportunity for this. We build stronger connections with our colleagues when we step out of the office and into a relaxed, natural environment. It's amazing how a simple picnic can break down barriers and foster genuine relationships. Face-to-face interaction is more meaningful than ever in our digital age. These picnics provide a chance to engage in real conversations, share laughs, and understand each other better. The ambience of a picnic creates memories that last forever. The laughter, the games, the scenic views, the group photographs – all contribute to experiences that stay with us. These moments are not just fun but also build a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. And let's not forget about the joy of enjoying good food and some drinks together. Sharing a meal is a universal way of connecting, and doing so in a relaxed setting amplifies this effect. We just had our team picnic yesterday, and it was a blast! If you haven't done it yet, it's time for you all to plan one too. #TeamBuilding #CorporateCulture #EmployeeEngagement #WorkLifeBalance #OfficeFun #TeamBonding #PicnicTime

Family atmosphere, young and dynamic team, fruit Thursdays... Wait, this isn't about us! Well, unless it's about fruit, but we serve these on Mondays 😄 What does it look like at our place? It varies because: - Both catpersons and dogpersons will find their place with us. - Some of us love pineapple pizza; others can't stand to look at it! - We work remotely with flexible hours, but we always remember to complete tasks as a team. - We have different senses of humor, but in the end, we all laugh together. - We are "technical" and "non-technical," which does not stop us from exchanging knowledge, collaborating, and implementing projects. - As a team, we engage in a variety of projects, each aimed at achieving common, positive change. Despite the diversity of our activities, our common commitment brings us together in pursuit of the same goal. Because our team is extraordinary, every trait strengthens our collective success! #OrderGroup #TeamWork #CompanyCulture

I help successful entrepreneurs overcome overwhelm and get things done in their businesses | Productivity Consultant | Time Management Coach | Organization Expert | Speaker | Author | LinkedIn Top Voice | Inc. Columnist
What's a work picnic? My 5th grade teacher, Ms. U, excelled at incorporating life lessons into her daily teaching. One of her famous teaching tools was that of a work picnic. Work picnics were something of a legend and rite of passage in my school. Wondering what a work picnic is? It's quite simple. It's working before picnicking in the park. At its essence, a work picnic is the lesson of "work before play." Here's how my teacher did just that. She taught us to: 🍎 Prepare to work. A few times in the spring semester we gathered our books, lunches, and sports equipment and head down to the local park. 🍎 Focus on our work. We laid out some blankets, sat down, and studiously worked from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. 🍎 Celebrate our success. It was time to picnic! We enjoyed our lunches, treats, and games all afternoon long until it was time to go home. I thought of this experience today as I wrapped up some work. It's a wonderful memory, and even more powerful lesson that even the most mundane of experiences have something to teach us. How do you reward yourself after a job well done? Manager, Business Solutions Hiring: VP, Sales (AI, ML, Cloud, Saas Services), Sr. Streaming Developer (Flink/Kafka)
🐝𝐁𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐔𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤!🐝 Two days ago I had a fascinating visit to an insect museum, and guess what? Bees are even more impressive than I thought! Did you know a single bee can visit up to 1,500 flowers a day, collecting nectar and pollen to keep the hive thriving? Here's the real bee-uty (pun intended!): This incredible feat isn't achieved by one superstar bee. It's a testament to their remarkable teamwork. Every bee has a specific role – from foragers collecting resources to worker bees maintaining the hive – and they collaborate seamlessly to ensure the colony's success. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬? • 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Just like bees, focusing on our strengths and working together as a team can lead to incredible results. If bees can create delicious honey by focusing on their strengths and working together, imagine what we humans can achieve when we do the same! • 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐞𝐲: Clear communication between team members, like the waggle dance used by bees to share information, ensures everyone's on the same page. • 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: Every role plays a vital part in achieving a common goal. Just like the hive wouldn't function without its diverse bee population, a team thrives when everyone contributes their unique skills. Feeling inspired by these tiny titans of teamwork? Let's all strive to collaborate more effectively, leverage each other's strengths, and build a work environment that buzzes with productivity! Connect with me on LinkedIn and let me show you the bee-rilliant talents we bring to you! #Bees #Teamwork #Collaboration #InspiredbyNature

💫 Embracing Creativity and Diversity at orderbird – Together we soar 💫 Diversity is a crucial part of my life and is a fundamental value for me 🏳️🌈. Immersing myself in various cultures and perspectives has deeply influenced my outlook. These experiences have taught me to appreciate the world through different viewpoints and cherish the unique stories everyone brings. 🌍 💖 At orderbird, these values shine through in the most innovative ways. One of my favorite traditions is the Lego Bird Challenge for our New Birds (new team members) during their Welcome Day. 🐦 🎉 New Birds have just 3 minutes to create a bird from Lego and then present it to the team with a name and a brief story. This engaging activity stems from Design Thinking, a powerful approach that fosters problem-solving through creativity and collaboration. 🧠 💡 The Lego Bird Challenge serves multiple key purposes: 1. Icebreaker: It makes New Birds feel welcome and part of our diverse community from day one. 2. Creativity Boost: It encourages out-of-the-box thinking and highlights the unique perspectives each person brings. 3. Team Bonding: It builds a sense of community and belonging, essential for a thriving and innovative workplace. This challenge celebrates the diversity each team member brings to our nest, reminding us that every bird counts and every story adds value to our collective journey. 🚀 💫 Being part of orderbird is a daily reminder of how diversity and creativity fuel innovation and success. Here’s to a workplace where everyone can thrive and reach new heights! 🙌 🎉 #diversity #inclusion #designthinking #teambuilding #innovation #orderbird #workculture #welcomeday #creativity #empathy #teamspirit

This photo doesn’t do the last few days justice. Conferences(Assemble Holidays would be a more appropriate name) often seem to come at a time when you don’t want to be away from your desk etc. BUT wowee was it great to let the hair down over the last few days, get to know people from our sister businesses better and to get the “good oil” from some of the best in the business about what’s helped them be successful in business and to build successful businesses. The common denominators were the importance of hiring good people, with shared values, who will add to an already great culture, be kind and to provide opportunity. Look forward to the next one.
This week the team at Assemble had the opportunity to escape to Waiheke Island for a couple of days to celebrate our achievements from 2023. During our time on the island, we not only enjoyed the company of our two sister companies BrightSpark.io & CoLegal, but we also took the chance to strengthen our bond as a team. Amidst the beautiful wineries and having some fun on the jet skis, we also made sure to carve out moments for reflection on the past year's accomplishments, share ideas around how we can better service the industries we recruit for and to prepare ourselves for the year ahead. It’s been a great opportunity to recharge, reconnect, and realign our focus as a team. We return eager to tackle another big year ahead in recruitment!
