I vividly remember my first time walking around the Nutis Visual Communications Group facility. One thing that caught my eye was an incredibly hyper-realistic 3D art piece of the Joker. As a huge Batman fan, I was absolutely amazed by the insane detail in the Joker's face—it looks exactly like Heath Ledger. It was clear that our 3D artists are exceptionally talented. Just one of the many reasons I’m proud to be part of such a creative and skilled team. 🎨 Exploring the World of Colours: RGB vs CMYK Did you know that the way we perceive colours differs between digital screens and printed materials? Let's dive into the fascinating realms of RGB and CMYK! 🌈 RGB (Red, Green, Blue): 🔹 Perfect for electronic displays 🔹 Creates vibrant, bright colours 🔹 Colours may vary depending on the screen 🎨 CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black): 🔹 Ideal for printed material 🔹 Ensures consistent colours across prints 🔹 Colours may appear less vibrant without the addition of light Remember, when designing for print, opting for CMYK ensures your colours stay true and consistent. Embrace the spectrum of colours, whether on screen or on paper! #businesscornwall #cornwallbusiness #localbusiness #printing #printingservices

We graphic designers use a different colour mode when We create design for print. As you might know if you are connected to design anyhow that we use RGB (red-green-blue) mode for screens and CMYK mode for print. Why? As these are Cyan Magenta Yellow and Key (Black) colours which are generally used in printing. Generally key is mixed with them to get more colours. Below is AI art representing the CMYK colours. Made with Adobe FireFly. Did you know that before? #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #AdobeFirefly #AIArt

In this Vintage Design Tool post, do you know what these tools are called? This month, I wanted to show a Pantone color fan deck and loupe. It has been years since I have used my Pantone color deck. Right now, I am working on a poster project and I may want to print the design using screen printing, so I am looking at some colors that will work in my design. I also have not used my loupe. A loupe is a simple, small magnifier used to see tiny things more carefully, like dot screens when printing or how the color is setting on the press sheet. Hopefully my loupe will be able to take a field trip on my next press check. #reite_design #graphicdesigner #creativedirection #freelancedesign

RGB vs CMYK: Understanding the Difference Between Digital and Print Colors When it comes to design, understanding the difference between RGB and CMYK color models is crucial. Here’s a quick breakdown: • RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is for digital use, providing a wider color gamut ideal for screens. • CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is for print, offering more accurate results on paper and other media . The key differences: 1. RGB uses light to create colors, while CMYK uses ink. 2. RGB offers a broader color range (16.7 million), while CMYK is more limited but optimized for print (16,000 colors). 3. RGB combines to make white; CMYK combines to make black. Knowing when to use each can make all the difference in the quality of your projects! #DesignTips #Printing #DigitalArt #RGBvsCMYK #ColorManagement
