GM Everyone, Cannabis is now a Presidential Issue! Paging Joe Biden, come in Joe Biden, has anyone seen Joe? Unfortunately not, since over the weekend we saw a post on X saying that he was dropping out of the race and endorsing Kamala. This was great for the cannabis space but is starting to create a narrative that might not be good for the Harris campaign. The next week or so is going to be telling in this process, and it would be best for the country to clean this up and focus on the road ahead as it relates to campaigning against Donald Trump. See you on the other side.

Trump: Don't bite the bait. NBC News: "Biden’s advisers have been meticulously studying and combing through all of Trump’s recent comments to see what is most likely to trigger him." "If Trump is more sedate than incensed, the goal for Biden will be to elicit what his aides see as “the true Trump,” according to three people familiar with the president’s debate prep." "The entire debate may hinge on one candidate’s ability to throw the other off his game, a fourth person familiar with Biden’s prep said. The goal is to get 'rally Trump' on full display, one of the sources said." "One way Biden may attempt to do that is to point out that Trump lost the 2020 election and then argue that Trump 'snapped' afterward and incited an insurrection on Jan. 6, these people said. If there’s a sense that Trump feels he is being called a 'loser,' that may anger him enough to lash out. That potential is being incorporated into Biden's preparations, the sources said." "If Trump says something false, Biden is prepared to point that out, but there’s also an awareness that the president shouldn’t spend the entire debate fact-checking his opponent over describing his own vision for a second term." "The Biden team is hoping the moderators will step in and do that when needed but they are preparing the president to call out specific lies if Trump raises them, the sources familiar with Biden’s prep said." It’s day three of the DNC and we have some amazing dynamics heading into November... I am not a Trump fan. His promises are not only hollow, they remain as vacuous and il conceived as much of his administration was from 2016-20. Still on the other side, we are being presented with such pageantry and majesty that we are expected to forget about the details. If you are a Harris fan, or a never Trumper, make no mistake and believe everything you are seeing in the media. The race is not over and this isn’t Obama 2008; Trump’s audiences remain HUGE and he is likely to pull RFK in on Friday. No idea how much success that brings but let’s see. The DNC so far remains Kamala’s MacFlurry campaign, sure everyone loves a sweet treat, but this campaign is going to need to face the media at some stage, and it should probably happen before the debate on 10 Sept. Both candidates have ample ammunition to hit each other with. Kamala the chameleon and Trump the felon. Of course the debate will delve deep into the respective flaws in both candidates. Trump is often tiresome when he starts to talk… he makes statements that are absurd and recounts conversations that we all know never happened. His RNC promises are a hodge podge of rants that overtly contradict each other… ie. bring down prices whilst raising massive tariffs on imported goods. For history buffs and Ferris Bueller fans, the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 may sound familiar…and as for the outcome? Anyone, anyone? As per 2016, there are promises and diatribes that are a mixture of incoherence and rambling however his audiences continue to adore their respective pageantry. So, we head into the last day of the DNC with the Kamala Harris / Timothy Walz as a much more invigorated and dynamic team. I know the talking points on the Right about the state of the nation are pure doom and gloom but there are some well-deserved ticks that Biden has earned over his term. Wins that the average punter doesn’t even know about because the attention span of the electorate has fallen commensurate with the speed of one's feed on TikTok, Instagram or whatever else mind-numbing distraction that has sunk its paws in. VP Kamala can read a teleprompter and compared to Biden, she is younger and dynamic, and has excited the base. There is a sense of optimism and hope but she has been kept away from media interviews. The first time we will see her in action could quite possibly be the first debate. I would assume she is getting a lot of training and coaching but Trump is an attack dog on stage and not a convention debater. I honestly have no idea who wins in November... the momentum of Harris / Walz is amazing and I am really happy that Biden has been put out to Pasteur. It's now a race. Who's going to win? #TheMaynePage

I am so angry at the media. They are making so much of thefact that Biden is slower or that the debate was bad. Did you hear him at the UN? Furthermore, it is Trump who is sounding as though he has lost it at his rallies. His words are slurred, he starts talking about one thing and then adds something else to the rant that has nothing to do with the first part. He lies, he doesn't remember what he has said previously at different times- and I could go on. Why isn't the media reporting about this. His record of putting some people in high places who have no skills in that area is abysmal. He put a person in charge of the Education department who had never been inside a public school. We know he'll decimate the health and safety regulations as he doesn't understand what they are needed for! He will put people in who only want to enrich themselves as he does. Is this the person you'll entrust our secrets to? He'll sell them to the highest bidder! Hasn't anyone on the Republican side know that the classified documentscase is really open and shut? Do you want highly classified material thrown in boxes in open bathrooms? There are spies here (just as we have spies- only Donald will sell their names to the highest bidder! You don't think so? How did his son-in-law get a $2 billion dollar deal from the Saudi's- you think it was from their largesse? But we only hear about Biden! Of course you have to look at who owns all these companies or who is the final decision maker as to what gets on the news. It is not an accident that CBS, NBC and ABC have exactly the same stories on each evening. How much longer can this go on? It is much more than a fight for democracy- Trump could do so much harm that it induces wars all over the earth while he breaks bread with Russia, China and Iran. When are we - the people - going to wake up? I simply cannot listen to any news as none of it is relevant to what is actually happening (and don't start me on Israel-Gaza because I am sick and tired of hearing estimates of deaths from Hamas-controlled agencies!) If we don't step up now and make our case- I fear for the future. Nukes in the hands of a madman?
