In this episode I take a deep a dive into why I chose to use Timber Frame Construction instead of a traditional masonry construction. I travelled to wales to visit the Timber Frame manufacturer and spent the day observing the intracies of how my chosen closed panel walls were built. Let me tell you now, if you are a construction geek like me, this is a very fun day out! Target Timber Systems are based in Wales but deliver and install across the UK. They hold the highest acolde which is known as gold membership with the STA (Structural Timber Association) Here's a link to their website for anyone who is considering Timber Frame for their next self build project or development project. This was the first time I used Timber Frame and so it wasn't a decison I came to quickly. After extensive research I decided that the many advantages outweighed the lesser disadvantages. Here is a brief summary of the main advantages. Speed - Off site construction which reduces the total time on site and in turn reduces the length of time you are paying finance costs ✅ Cost - equal to if not cheaper than tradtional construction ✅ Improved Air Tightness ✅ Higher level of Thermal Insulation ✅ Sustainability - Timber required five times less energy when compared with concrete✅ Enjoy the video and if you you found it useful please like, comment and share 🤩 #propertydevelopment #timberframe https://lnkd.in/eQb3yFk7

Why Choose Piled Raft Foundations? ✔️Cost-Effective: Provides an economical alternative when ground conditions are unsuitable for standard foundations. 💪Strength & Stability: Combines the load-bearing capacity of piles with the wide support of a raft, ensuring a stable foundation. 🏗️Versatility: Ideal for a variety of construction projects, from residential buildings to commercial structures.
