Yesterday, we were thrilled to welcome Liam & Kristi Hendriks to The Dimock Center! Liam, closing pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, and Kristi, founder of For the Field Apparel, toured our historic Roxbury campus and chatted with some of our frontline doctors, nurses, and members of our community outreach team about the issues our patients and families face, and what we are doing to create a healthier and more equitable Boston. Thank you to our longtime partner, the Red Sox Foundation, for coordinating this visit and continuing to partner with us to drive meaningful change in our community. ❤ Pictured from left to right: Boston Red Sox Community and Player Relations Director Caitlin Hanley, Dimock’s new Chief Medical Officer Dr. Monera Wong, Boston Red Sox closing pitcher Liam Hendriks, founder of For the Field Apparel Kristi Hendriks, Dimock President and CEO Dr. Charles Anderson, and Red Sox Foundation Giving and Partnerships Manager Matt McCarthy. #TheDimockDifference #Boston Boston Red Sox Red Sox Foundation

A 10-year plan is the kind of visionary approach this field needs.
Yesterday our regional sister chapters from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, along with the Delaware Valley Chapter, hosted national president and CEO, Joanne Pike, DrPH, and chief operating officer, Donna McCullough, who shared with staff and volunteers (both in person and online) insights into our organization's 10-year vision planning, and entertained questions and input. We are grateful to them and to everyone who participated in this vital discussion. Working together, today and every day, to #ENDALZ!

🎉 Congrats to Marty Ness-White, co-owner of Kitchen Solvers of Spring Hill! 🎉 Marty has been named one of 2024’s Franchise Rock Stars by Franchise Business Review! 🏆 Marty stands out for her leadership and community contributions, particularly in supporting veterans. As a disabled veteran herself, she has been instrumental in Vet 2 Vet Middle TN, organizing events, expanding membership, and providing crucial support. Marty responded, "Wow! I am surprised and overwhelmed with emotions over this kind of recognition. We veterans are always so focused on the mission that we often don’t take time to acknowledge our part in the success of it all. This is not just what I do, but it is very much of who I am and how we want to continue showing up in our community. My husband and co-owner, Andy, has also gotten to partake in the veteran community and is just as dedicated to supporting it with me. I could not do all that I do without his support." Congratulations Marty! Read more: https://lnkd.in/gtX8UF7m #FranchiseRockStar #VeteransSupport #CommunityLeader

Another season has come to its conclusion in minor league baseball, at least at my account. I am often asked what do you do in the fall and winter, take numerous vacations? The short answer is no. While we are not working 15+ hour days, 7 days per week as we are in season, we go right back to work analyzing what worked well, and what we need to improve upon for next year. I admit, after a monster week to conclude our regular season, I slept in this morning until 9 am, but now, IT IS TIME!!!!! Work remains to be done, helping and assisting other accounts still playing or in the playoffs, working diligently to partner with new teams and organizations that are seeking meaningful change and a dramatic paradigm shift in the custom focused experience among others. We don't rest on our laurels, it is time to dig in, work harder to cultivate new relationships with our partners who seek an unmatched and unrivaled guest experience. If your organization across collegiate or professional sports and entertainment is looking to enhance its operations, including putting the focus back on the guest experience, we should talk. Better yet, you talk, we listen. You're our partner in the truest sense of the word and we want to hear how we can help you achieve a dynamic, customer focused operation. We have some great ideas, however, we want to hear and understand your vision before adding any input. Reach out today, let's chat. https://lnkd.in/eWWvVV2P #letsgo #strengthandhonor #partnership #relentless #guestfocus

CEO Team Wildfire. Exec Dir Wildfire Labs. Problem solver, FX Coord, expert witness, TV producer, author, keynote speaker, STEM presenter of the year. Techstars’23! Host: The Fire Break. If it's impossible, count me in.
There’s an exciting trend developing; people who don’t come from a “fire background” are being drawn to the fire space, bringing new perspectives, talents and experience to bear on the wildfire crisis. Seth Schalet is a great example. Drawing on decades of business and philanthropy leadership experience, Seth turned the Santa Clara County FireSafe Council into the only such organization to pay its own way, with profitable operations and a full time staff. As he’s done many times with previous ventures, he’s used his keen business skillls and powerful collaborative abilities to turn SCCFC into a brilliantly effective and self sustaining model for other non-profits. Very few people understand the concept of “no margin, no mission” as well as does this dynamic CEO. And as I mention in the show, Seth Schalet is one of the best examples of what it means to be a mensch. (Look it up if you don’t know the term.) Learn a few of his secrets to success here in his fascinating interview. Spoiler, it begins with character, integrity, humility, curiosity, and drive.
