This week is Men’s Health Week, a week centered on raising awareness of preventable health conditions and encouraging men to seek medical advice when needed. Part of our mission is to provide task trainers that prepare medical professionals to examine and diagnose pathologies, but that is only half the story. Studies suggest that men are often less likely to seek medical help than woman. Without visiting, professionals are unable to diagnose and get patients the help they need. Discover more; read our article full of facts that highlight the need to raise awareness: https://lnkd.in/gcs6B9Mc #MensHealth #MensHealthWeek #MedicalSimulation #HealthcareSimulation #PatientSafety

Our rapid-cycle evaluation of medical practices with First 5 LA and L.A. Care Health Plan shows that their partnership to increase developmental screenings is having a huge impact. 👏👏👏 Why rapid cycle? By conducting more frequent, iterative evaluations, the partners can learn quickly what's working and what isn't to keep improving their approaches.

Strategic biotech leader driven by transforming the patient voice into actionable evidence for regulatory approval and market access.
Do you think #PatientReportedOutcomes are only for research? Not so! They can be an important part of clinical practice. Visionary clinicians who I worked with PeaceHealth and Visiting Nurse Service of New York referred to #PROs as another clinical measure that should be considered alongside temperature and BP. Check out the PROTEUS team’s work on implementing measures in clinical practice. #COA #patientcentered
Patient-reported outcomes (#PROs) are a powerful tool to ensure the patient’s own voice is heard, helping clinicians & health systems deliver more patient-centered care. A new Correspondence in Nature Medicine by members of The PROTEUS Consortium describes the comprehensive, unified advice offered in the PROTEUS-Practice Guide for optimizing PROs in all types of clinical environments. https://lnkd.in/gC9t63qr Nature Portfolio Norah L Crossnohere, Judy Baumhauer, Melanie Calvert, Sandi Gulbransen, Lotte Haverman, Yuchen Li, Carolyn Petersen, Ameeta Retzer, Angela Stover, Garrett Ursin, Elliott Sparkman Walker
