While I'm not a basketball guy, I am a leader and this brings up a very valid point. I disagree when Carmelo on whether women are as athletic as men or not, but that is not today's topic. In many fields women are discredited as just not being as good at the job as their male counterparts. In the same circumstances that you could find a woman who is not as good as a man, you can find men who aren't as good as other men, and men who aren't as good as women. This is looking at the glass half empty. I'm not that person, I'm also not the person to tell you that glass is half full. I'm the person to tell you the glass is doing it's job, and it's doing it well. Growing up, the men in my life would show me how to do hard work, some would show me how to do it smarter, but their focus was getting it done, and most of the time doing it right. The women in my life were more technical, perhaps that is why I turned out how I have. They would break down the intricacies, they would ask why, and focus on the smallest details. For a very simple but daily example, look at how women do their makeup. Seriously, go to YouTube, or TikTok, and look up makeup tutorials. Watch the years of effort, the mistakes that were made and learned from that you see. One mistake and your face looks weird because your eyes look different, your skin tone differs from the rest of your body, it looks like you have flower caked on your face. Watch how they skillfully craft their face like a canvas, already beautiful, and sculpt it into their own artwork. Women are very easily capable of showing you the little details you might be missing. That's not to take away from their hard work. Sure, there are women who don't want to do manual labor type of hard work, but neither do I, neither do a lot of men. There are also women, who just like men, want to do that level of hard work. There's also women who want to do the stressful office jobs. Women are not given enough credit to be put in those positions if they wanted to show it. I am thankful to be in tech, one of the only fields I know of that is actually trying harder to give women those positions, to highlight women owned and operated companies, and show that not only do they work hard, but that they also will show you the minor details you may be over looking that will make you, your job, and your company better.

Precision in Timing: A Parallel Between Photography and Business Sharing a powerful snapshot from the world of D1 basketball, where precision meets passion, exemplified by athletes like Raheem Braiton. Just as in sports photography, success in business hinges on precise timing and purposeful decision-making. In the realm of photography, capturing the perfect shot often relies on precise timing—seizing the moment when the action peaks or the emotion is raw. Similarly, in the fast-paced world of business, success often hinges on making decisions at the opportune moment, when the market is ripe or the competition is poised for disruption. #BE_DECISIVE! #sportsphotography
🏀 Frozen in Time: D1 Basketball One shot, countless emotions. Capturing the intensity of D1 basketball in a single frame is both a challenge and a privilege. Proud to freeze this moment in time of Raheem Braiton doing what he does best. #D1Basketball #SportsPhotography Demetrius Jackson NCAA

@daltonknecht3 has definitely been fun to watch! In the last three games, he's averaged 34.3 points, which is crazy for college basketball! I haven't seen a 3 level scorer like this at @vol_hoops in a while. #basketball #basketballtraining #basketballcoaching #basketballdrills #basketballneverstops #basketballgame

Black Recreational Basketball aka "Streetball" is and has been a multibillion-dollar market hiding in plain sight! The "Other Game" is and has always been a threat to the stakeholders of institutional basketball. The rise and fall of both the American Basketball Association and AND1 are case studies on the threat of the "other game." More importantly, the next recreational basketball brand that consolidates most of the black recreational basketball space aka "streetball" can build a billion-dollar business. When I put my "tinfoil" hat on, I think there's a reason why the 2005 sales price for AND1 was never made public! Think about it! #nobackboards #basketball #blackownedbusiness
Was AND1 sold for a Billion Dollars in 2005?
