✨️🌟🔮🌟✨️NASA calculates interplanetary travel using only 15 digits of pi. You could compute the diameter of a circle the size of the visible universe with accuracy at 40 digits.... NASA employs 3.141592653589793, which is the highest accuracy computation for interplanetary navigation produced by JPL. NASA is even able to see that scientists seldom undertake physically realistic calculations for which nearly as many decimal places are required as you provide. 🚀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 "𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗽𝘀𝗼": 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲'𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀! 🚀 NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration confirmed that Boeing’s crew #spacecraft, #Starliner, will remain docked with the International Space Station #ISS into August. The mission is currently on hold as #NASA and #Boeing address issues encountered early in the flight. The Starliner capsule, "Calypso," which has carried NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, has been in space for over 50 days and counting. This extension allows NASA to complete crucial testing on the ground before scheduling the spacecraft's return to Earth. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, "𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵." Ultimately, while setbacks are inevitable in #spaceexploration, the continued efforts to overcome these challenges are what propel us forward. This mission not only advances our technological capabilities but also strengthens our commitment to exploring and understanding space. However, I'm very happy that we didn't have another tragedy, as the astronauts had issues during the flight. However, this also raises concerns about the awarded contracts to Boeing. It's essential to reconsider these issues while SpaceX have showcased greater reliability. Stay tuned for further updates as we witness this remarkable journey unfold! 🌌✨ Video: Secrets of the Universe #SpaceExploration #NASA #Boeing #Starliner #ISS #SpaceMission #Innovation #Aerospace #Space #Spacsector #Spaceflight #Crewedspaceflight #Spacetravel #Spacebusiness 🛰️🚀👩🚀

WHATS REALLY HAPPENING AT INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION? The Boeing's spacecraft Star-liner which was launched on June 5 met with several issues during the flight, and now the two unfortunate astronauts Butch Wilmore & Sunita Williams will likely have to extend their stay aboard the International Space Station for several months. According to NASA, Star-liner suffered strange anomalies during its flight to the space station. They included: 1. 5 of the spacecraft’s helium thrusters did not perform as planned. 2. Several leaks in Star-liner’s helium system were observed. 3. Star-liner may also need software configuration. 4. Star-liner's solar panels also seems outdated or soon to expire. Astronauts Response: Butch Willmore said by making their role as priority "And that's why we are staying because we are going to test it...We are going to get the data we need to help inform our decision so we make the right decision" and Sunita william on the other hand told the media on June 10 "we are now learning to optimize are current situation so that we know everything about the spacecraft." Let’s Hope :) they get on EARTH safe and sound. #Astronauts #SpaceExploration #NASA #STEM #SpaceScience #HumanSpaceflight #Astronomy #SpaceTravel #InnovationInSpace #FutureOfSpace #AstronautTraining #ExploringTheUniverse #SpaceTechnology

#onthisday in #tech #history -- September 17, 1976 🗓️ NASA Unveils Enterprise 🌌 NASA rolls out the first Space Shuttle, Enterprise, from its assembly facility to a waiting crowd. Included in the crowd was a delegation of actors from the Star Trek TV series. Originally to be named Constitution, a write-in campaign by Star Trek fans convinced President Gerald Ford and NASA to rename the Space Shuttle. The Enterprise was a prototype shuttle, designed for the early testing phase of the Space Shuttle program. It was built without engines or a functional heat shield. While it performed various atmospheric test flights, and was originally intended to be retrofitted for spaceflight, it was determined that it would be less expensive to simply build new shuttles. Therefore the Enterprise never did actually fly into space. From Marcel Brown thisdayintechhistory.com #nasa #space #spaceshuttle #enterprise #1970s
