"We're also celebrating our 30th anniversary this year, marking a remarkable partnership with JLL over the last 30 years, with over 10,000 transactions. He also emphasised TEC's strategic focus on creating accessible, engaging spaces and highlighted the milestones both JLL and TEC achieved in meeting the needs of businesses in this dynamic market. Congratulations to JLL on their outstanding achievements over the past 30 years. We look forward to many more years of collaboration.

I usually avoid boasting, but given the unusual times our market has navigated, it's sometimes worthwhile to pat ourselves on the back. Especially since 2023 was an absolutely record-breaking year for Cushman & Wakefield in the CEE: 🔹We achieved record results in income and EBITDA. 🔹We managed to secure a market leader position in the industrial, retail, and hotel sectors in the CEE in 2023, and No. 2 in the office market. 🔹We achieved the highest capital market share in the region, being entrusted with 35% of total transaction volume in Poland and 60% in Czechia. Such remarkable results would not have been possible without the trust of our clients and partners, and the hard work of the entire C&W team in the region. A big thank you to Jonathan Hallett, Gergely Pados, Tomas Nemethy MRICS, Zuzanna Paciorkiewicz, PhD, MRICS, Damian Kolata, Andrew Frizell, Jeff Alson, Paweł Partyka, Paulina Misiak, Michał Galimski, Michał Masztakowski, Katarzyna Lipka, Karolina Samczyńska-Fiślak, Ewa Derlatka-Chilewicz, Mateusz Brzeziński, Joanna Buczkowska, Anna Trochim, just to name a few – it wasn't easy, but our commitment paid off 😊 We're not resting on our laurels and are setting the bar even higher. Exciting months ahead! #OneCushwake #WeMakeADifference #realestate #CEE

As Asia’s wealth management industry matures, it’s the clients who set the course. Terence Chow, Group COO of Raffles Family Office, recently shared his observations with Citywire Asia, noting the multi-banked nature of APAC clients who seek holistic portfolio review, regardless of where their assets are custodied. The real focus here remains being client-centric and aligning with what’s best for the client and the legacies they are shaping. With The Global Family Office Report by Deloitte Private and Raffles Family Office revealing rapid wealth accumulation across APAC driving the growth of family offices, this surge in wealth is also prompting more families to seek structured and holistic management of their assets. Family offices are becoming the trusted partner not just for managing wealth but also laying the groundwork for lasting legacies across borders and generations. At the 2024 Raffles Family Office Annual Forum: Legacy.Redefined, our panel “Transforming Insights: The Future of APAC Family Offices Beyond Growth and Returns” discusses these and more. A few days ago! I really valued the opportunity to give a brief talk on the #15minutecity concept for the EYL40 European Young Leaders session in Paris. Thank you Catherine Arod-Gall & Carlos Moreno Chaire ETI - IAE Paris Sorbonne School for connecting me to Friends of Europe to make this happen. Thank you Nathalie Furrer 👏🏽 I first heard of the 15-minute city concept, that Professor Moreno coined, while living in a small central Scandinavian city at the beginning of the recent pandemic. I had a 💡moment as the concept reflected the lifestyle I had been living & appreciating in this well planned Nordic city. I began to follow the diverse coverage of the concept as well as Moreno & his colleagues research outputs. I appreciated that, while the concept has roots to historic planning paradigms, it brings a contemporary & critical new lens to the need for proximity & an emphasis on shaping more human-centric urban environments. I value observing how many towns & cities worldwide are incorporating the concept to their local needs, in their vision statements & city plans. Simultaneously, I also appreciate looking to existing examples of towns & cities that (already) embody aspects of the concept, due to decades of sensible planning. The 15-minute city is a central theme of my current research. In my life, the concept is a living value. I have inhabited a 15-minute city lifestyle in diverse locations & it’s brilliant, liberating & practical. I in fact live a largely 5-minute neighborhood lifestyle most days of the week currently, which many people now working remotely (due to changes initiated during the pandemic) can relate to. I can talk for days on this concept but for now will close out with the invitation I gave to the European Young Leaders 40, alumni & organizers gathered in Paris. If you are working with this concept in your community (implementing in city plans, dealing with any misunderstandings in the community etc) & want to connect, please feel free to write. Also thanks to Florent PRATLONG for guiding us on a city immersive walk after to observes aspects of the concept alive in a vibrant Parisian neighborhood & public space. More photos of that to come…. #EYL40 #walkability
