Is it mainstream now? I think if you were to look at the gaming space, you could probably say yes. But I think if you look back at the last five years, what we have to be enormously positive about is where we've got to. I think when Carrie and I first started talking, it was not on people's radars, and that is probably me being generous. I think where we've got to is a point where people perhaps recognize what digital fashion is, where we have to take fashion is not just imagining that digital. Product is what we're trying to sell as much as digital experience. Where do immersive technologies begin to sit in to allow? An audience that may not see utility in a digital product but can see value in a digital experience, that that is where I think we can have massive, massive impact over the years ahead. If you would imagine this digital social experience that reached the masses, how would it look like? How would it feel like? And I wish I had a simple answer for that, but I want to say on Monday we were testing in the office with a mixed reality headset and we also did some VR testing. And it was really interesting. With a group of students still within VR, you can begin to see body language where there is a little bit of resistance. They feel a little bit uncertain about what's going on around them. When the guys shifted into a mixed reality headset, immediately their body language changed because they could see everything around them in the room, intuitive. Use of interacting with products within a digital space was incredible. But as we look through into the years ahead, those levels of immersion are going to get better. The level of fidelity that we can deliver is going to improve. What we need to think about is like shopping online is so easy. Now I can do anything from my mobile phone. What is that hardware that is coming to the market going to enable us to do that isn't going to be possible. Through those devices, that is where we will land and that is where I think you can drive mass adoption. And I am so aligned with Matthew on this, But are you gonna start to see those aha moments, those moments where people are just going to have that type of reaction that Matthew mentioned, like just feeling comfortable in the physical world with virtual content in front of them? What you're about to see is a shift in computing. Computing is about to expand beyond our phones. We're still going to do tons of stuff on our phones. Our phones are going to be around for a while. I want to be very clear on that. But we're going to expand computing into everything we can see, touch and know right, that in some way extends the opportunity that fashion has. To bring that virtual element into the physical world, the world becomes your catwalk like it already is, like you're wearing, you're wearing your clothes, but you're going to go from high fidelity to fantastical because you're going to be able to. But people need to understand, when we talk about spatial computing, what's coming is that it's a 3D for 3D centric form of computing that is going to expand computing beyond our current limitations, right? It uses AI, uses computer vision, extended reality. It's going to merge these virtual experiences in a keyword experience once again. What Matthew said virtual experiences into the physical world, all of this is transitional equipment that is going to lead us towards devices that will combine communication and computing within one single thing. And we use fashion to communicate, we communicate our state being, we communicate our self-expression, who we are, who we brands that we love. There's so much that we do when we communicate with fashion and I think that that is would be a massive opportunity when we look at the future of where fashion is going to go and. I even part of me almost feels like we need to stop calling it virtual fashion and that might be a little bit like scary because it's fashion. Fashion is just about to break free of the constraints. It's not going to be necessarily all fabric, it's going to be bits. It's going to be a combination in fashion is going to be a spread across everything because with these new technologies with spatial computing, everything becomes in spatial interface.

Great post by Andrey Golub focusing on digitizing fashion product prototype and my thoughts are below.
The digital prototype is an initial stage when you get a result out of it further the modification of product like for and function has to be changed for target demography again from massive data analysis. Then finally technology and pattern automation has to support the product development. So along the apparel product cycle there are several phase’s digital innovation needs to be expirimented before launching.
What do you guys think?
