This summer, we’re hitting the road to see our FIELD fellows in action! The FIELD fellowship equips young people with the tools to tackle global challenges like hunger and climate change. Stella Delp will visit all 11 fellows at their diverse immersion sites across the United States as they gather insights from industry experts, develop entrepreneurial mindsets, and create innovative food system solutions. While on the road, we’ll also reconnect with our alumni, whose Farmlink experiences have led them to impactful careers as food entrepreneurs, policymakers, and teachers. We're also thrilled to meet with our stakeholders—farmers, community food distributors, and supporters—who have been crucial to our mission. As a remote organization, these in-person visits are beyond special. This tour is happening thanks to our incredible partnership with Planet Home Lending, LLC! They supported our first national tour in 2020, and it felt natural to team up again. Planet Home Lending is committed to making meaningful environmental and social impact, so they're excited to join us in empowering the next generation of changemakers in the food system. 🚜🌾🌱🌍
It’s so great to hear stories of young people doing the things we could have been doing all along. ❤️
Such a joy and privilege to do this work! Thank you Planet Home Lending, LLC for making this possible!
Fantastic update!

3moThis is wonderful but your marketing is very misleading. Food doesn’t go from food bank to table. It goes from a food bank to a member agency (direct service operator) to either a home or to a dumpster pending the quality. We need to start recognizing the organizations who distribute the food to the receipents. These organizations are under-resourced, underfunded, and left out of the conversation. You cannot fight hunger without their work and it is time the charitable food system acknowledges them and includes their voices!
