We just published a policy alert about the Department of Labor's overtime rule and what it means for #highered governing boards. These alerts are one of the best times for me to practice being both informative and brief. For too long, I assumed my job should be, "Let's give board members as much information as possible so they can make good decisions." Turns out it's really, "Let's give board members only as much information as it takes to make a good decision."
