Let's build today as a gift for those yet to be born. 🌱 In the first episode of PBS's A Brief History of the Future, Ari Wallach reminds us that the future is being built by our actions right now. "The future is a verb. It's something that we do. It's something that we're doing right now. We can become great ancestors, and that is what the future needs us to do, to think in a way that places us in their shoes." Full episode here https://lnkd.in/eTwc-qnH

Founder at Cupla, the revolutionary app helping busy couples to manage their lives together. Founder at Synthony; proprietary entertainment experience with sell-out shows across New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
What I would say to other founders who might find themselves in 'The Pit of Despair': - Being in love with the problem is an essential part of the journey and will see you through those highs and lows. If you are flippant about what you are trying to solve, it makes it almost impossible to persevere when things aren’t going well. - Being in love with the problem means you are adaptable to how you solve it. It’s not about being so set on your solution that you persist when the signs are saying you may have it wrong. It’s a willingness to change your thinking, follow the green shoots, toss out what you have done if necessary, to better solve the problem. - Understand the importance of timing and whether it’s right at this moment. Even the best ideas and the most clever founders need timing on their side to be successful.
