Everything we see and use—from the buildings we work in to the products we depend on—exists thanks to the skill and craftsmanship of manufacturers. On #MFGDay, we’re celebrating the people behind the process. At The Fountain Group, we’re proud to connect these experts with opportunities that shape the world around us. Here’s to the hands and minds that create what we depend on every day. #MakersOfOurWorld #TFG

Team building is one of the most important things to do at work.
At RPCS, we’re believers in the sentiment “Teamwork makes the dream work.” Every month, our Kentucky warehouse Operations Manager Justin Smith tries to find some down time where everyone can participate in a team-building activity. This past month, Warehouse Supervisor Mark Tomes came up with the idea of “Human Foosball.” Much like the table-top game (but on a much larger scale), Human foosball requires the players in the game to move together as a team to score goals. With a score of 10-7, Team No-Vis took down Team Hi-Vis. #LifeatRPCS #SolarInMotion #Teamwork

Digital systems integrator: safer facilities, better communications, stronger networks, and modern solutions for modern problems.
It was a great time trimming out the datacom rack live at the Vertical Cable booth during ISC West! Times like last week at ISC are outstanding reminders of how much more powerful and productive we are as an industry when we work together instead of against each other. Did I have to spend my time at ISC building out a rack and showing other integrators how they can do better? No - I could have walked the show floor as usual and seen a lot of cool stuff. Did I want to share knowledge and skills with other integrators? Heck yeah! Gate keeping “trade secrets” is ultimately nonproductive. Sharing knowledge and skills benefits everybody and moves the industry forward so that we all win! In true #communityovercompetition fashion, having the opportunity to meet so many fellow systems integrators and industry peers and share some tips and tricks on how they can take their installs to the next level is always a great experience. From quickly terminating keystone jacks, to labeling, to methods of perfectly dressing out patch panels, there was a LOT of productive conversation last week. For me, seeing people leave the booth with new knowledge that will change their game in a positive way is a win for the industry! Huge shoutout to VC for being such an integral partner in our day-to-day as a systems integrator and the industry as a whole. Datacom projects without VC simply wouldn’t be the same! #ISCWest #VerticalCable #TKcommunity #IT #datacom #telecom #structuredcabling #fiber #fiberoptics #CAT6 #MSP #partnership #collaboration

Touching down in Denver for the DPHA product showcase has me reflecting on how far our journey has come—and the unique path we’ve had to forge. Our business is a bit of a unicorn, operating in both the service and retail sectors of the plumbing industry. Unlike most companies, there’s no blueprint for what we do, no established model to follow. We’ve had to write our own playbook, navigating through both success and failure, while staying true to our vision. It wasn’t always easy, but DPHA has been a constant source of support and inspiration along the way. I remember attending my first DPHA event years ago, feeling both excited and uncertain. But that event was a turning point. I left with not only a deeper understanding of the industry, but with relationships that have become key to our growth—people who pushed me to dream bigger. It was then I envisioned creating a full-service plumbing boutique, offering end-to-end solutions for kitchen and bath spaces. Fast forward to today, I’m not only a member of DPHA but have the privilege of serving as a board member and President-elect. This organization continues to shape my journey, and I’m grateful to stand among leaders who are as passionate about innovation as I am. I’m excited to see what’s new at this year’s showcase, from cutting-edge products to insights on how we, as an industry, can continue evolving. A special shoutout to Rebekah Covay and Kymberly Weiner for their tireless work in making this event happen. As we come together, I challenge all of us to consider: With the shifting landscape of manufacturers and dealers, who are we truly serving, and how does DPHA continue to evolve in this dynamic environment? The journey is far from over—excited to see where we go next. #DPHA #IndustryLeadership #PlumbingInnovation #ServiceAndRetail #KitchenAndBath #PlumbingJourney #Denver2024 Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association
