The New Rules of Creativity in the Social Media Era 🎨🔄 Welcome to the flipped world of creativity! Gone are the days when high fidelity was king. Now, the game is all about authenticity. 🌍🔁 Here's the shift: 1. Authenticity Over Perfection: In today's world dominated by social media, what matters is not creating the perfect content, but rather the authenticity and relatability of something that can be made on a smartphone. 📱💡 2. Storytelling is Key: Whether you’re an author, content creator, or visual artist, the core skill lies in crafting compelling visuals and narratives that captivate and connect. 📚🖼️ 3. Focus on Impact: Forget the medium—whether it’s a print, a commercial, or a billboard. What really matters is how effectively you communicate your message and evoke emotion. 💬❤️ Reflect on This: What are you really doing with your skills? It's not just about the output; it’s about the impact. Think about how you can use your talents to create visuals that not only look great but also tell a powerful story. 👉 Are you ready to embrace this new creative landscape?

Authenticity, yes. Looks like you did it on your phone... 🤨 There is a lifeform in another galaxy that can hear my groans of disagreement. 🤦♂️🛰👽🛸🪐 Maybe I'm just in the minority, but I'm aggressively bored with that "DIY on your phone" visual. It could be because it's over saturated social media for a few years now that its appeal is extinct. Even small businesses with tight budgets are using applications to make low effort content that feels like they just "used a filter" to make it. I won't knock a ma' and pa' shop for doing something like this, but even this has been growing in excess. Again, this is just my opinion and perspective. I absolutely agree with authenticity and transparency, but I'm not a fan of the over abundance of low-effort content simply for attention. It's like beatmakers back in the day having hundreds of bedroom beats, but no studio quality bangers. The tech and tutorials were there, but low effort and low quality in excess is a turnoff.

I really resonate with the 'Authenticity Over Perfection.' It's like something can't even feel perfect if the authenticity is missing 🌱 ✨

In the social media era, authenticity > perfection. Our focus should be on crafting genuine, relatable content that tells a compelling story and evokes emotion.

Its all about the positive emotional connection, a designer can give their clients customers. Nothing else matters, in design.

It is hard to tell your story when your career is focused on telling other people's story. I meet so many great people that my story sounds lame. My story is: I want to tell your story. 🤷♂️
