“RSHE is about more than just teaching the biological aspects of sex. It’s about understanding consent, building healthy relationships, recognising abusive behaviours, and knowing where to seek help. This education helps us make informed decisions and respect others’ boundaries, which is crucial for our wellbeing.” This blog from Brook explores how proposed age limits in the draft RSHE guidance might put young people at risk: https://lnkd.in/ezrit7PY We have until the 11th of July to respond to the guidance and make our voices heard. A comprehensive report on teen sex by Ivy League researchers, highlighted by Upworthy Staff on 12.26.23, is an essential read for parents. This groundbreaking study led by Harvard psychologist Rick Weissbourd examines young people's perspectives on sex and love, revealing three key insights: the myth of hookup culture, the persistent issue of sexual harassment and assault, and teenagers' desire for more guidance on relationships. The report emphasizes the importance of parental discussions on consent and healthy relationships, challenging common misconceptions and underscoring the need for more informed and open conversations between parents and teens about love and sexuality. Children need to hear our values about relationships and sexuality. Without our guidance, they might miss out on crucial, accurate information. We owe it to our children to talk about healthy relationships and sexuality. If we don’t talk about healthy relationships and sexuality with them they will likely face several risks: They might receive inaccurate or misleading information from peers, media, or the internet. They could miss out on important, factual information altogether They won't learn about your beliefs and values regarding relationships and sexuality. This gap can lead to confusion about what is expected or considered healthy behavior. They might absorb harmful or fear-based messages that can affect their self-esteem and behavior. Such messages can lead to anxiety and misconceptions about sexuality and relationships. Lack of proper education can result in unsafe sexual practices, increasing the risk of sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies. Without understanding consent and boundaries, they are more vulnerable to abuse. They may struggle with forming and maintaining healthy relationships. This can lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness. Understanding these risks highlights the importance of having open, honest, and age-appropriate conversations with children about healthy relationships and sexuality. #sexuality #sexeducation #relationships #parenting #empowertoprevent Ibiyemi's ink 🔏 worthywrite

This week days have been very intriguing, and very interesting analyzing and scrutiny and bringing perspectives to the book titled *PENIS POWER; THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO MALE HEALTH BY DUDLEY SETH DANOFF* Some of the information were so much shocking and alarming how we as people have perceived sex education in every area of life. Looking at the benefit health wise we gain, it is if sex is basically made only child bearing or give birth. As Mr Dudley rightly said this aspect of our body is digged and covered as if it is even sin and abomination to even mention. There are several benefit health wise we gain from *active sex* I want to recommend *BEMA ANKASANIE POWDERED SUPPLEMENT* solve your bedroom harassment and distressed. *Contact the Lead Researcher On 0506192923/0596389653*

Offset of 4th September marks the end of World Sexual Health Day celebration but not the end of advocacy. Sexual Health cuts across emotional, psychological, physical, intellectual and spiritual dimensions. *How to determine if you are Sexually Healthy.* 1.Self-esteem and Self-worth. This is basically having a developed sense of self, an understanding of who you are as well as being proud of oneself. 2.Communication. The ability to interact with other gender sexually without overstepping or rather being sensitive to non-verbal cues of others’ boundaries and limits. 3.Spritual. Understand that sexual union is one way human beings connect body and soul and putting respect to sacred part of the union. 4.Education. A person who has the understand that the drive for sex is powerful and can be integrated into one’s life in positive and healthy ways is sexually health. 5.Contraception, protection, and body integrity. It's basically taking responsibility that comes with sexual health understanding and standing to the right decisions in matter's sexuality.

The phenomenon of “Missing Women” - that in some cultures there are fewer women than expected – has been much debated since it was highlighted by Amartya Sen in a seminal paper in 1992. Globally, the natural sex ratio at birth (SRB) is 1.05, however, sex ratios of 1.20 or even 1.30 have been observed in some countries such as China, South Asia, or the Middle East. While Pakistan’s SRB is 1.06, this may hide actual son preference in selected population groups. The study explored sex preference and resulting contraceptive usage, in an informal settlement in Rawalpindi. We ask, does contraceptive use go up or down if the last child is a boy?
