To celebrate National Coffee Milkshake Day, here is a recipe for a yummy coffee treat! Ingredients 1⁄2 cup milk 1-2 tablespoons instant coffee granules or espresso powder 4 large scoops vanilla or chocolate ice cream (about 1 1/2 cups) whipped cream and chocolate sauce, for topping (optional) Instructions Add the milk and coffee granules to a blender. Leave for a few minutes, then add the ice cream. Pulse a few times to break up the ice cream. Then blend until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds. If the milkshake is too thick, add more milk and blend again until the desired consistency is reached. Taste and adjust the amount of coffee as needed. Pour into chilled glasses and top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. APPLE PIE BOURBON SHOTS🍎🥃 Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. bourbon 2 apples (green and red), chopped 3 sugar cubes 1 whole nutmeg, slightly shaved 4 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish 1 1" piece fresh ginger Directions: Step 1 Fill a mason jar with bourbon, apples, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger. Step 2 Let mixture sit 2 to 4 days. (Taste after 2 days and let sit longer as desired.) Step 3 Pour mixture into shot glasses and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
