𝐍𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡, 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞. It doesn't discriminate based on our bank balances or social status. We all breathe the same air, drink the same water, and share this beautiful planet. Yet, it often seems like some people believe that their wealth can shield them from the consequences of environmental neglect. Let’s be honest. If the rich think they can simply buy fresh air, clean water, and other vital resources, they are sadly mistaken. The reality is that no amount of money can replace the fundamental elements of life. When our rivers are polluted and our air is filled with smog, the wealthy cannot escape the repercussions. In cities like Delhi, we have witnessed the devastating effects of pollution. Each year, thick layers of smog envelop our skies, affecting the health of millions. It doesn’t matter if you live in a luxurious penthouse or a modest apartment; everyone faces the same health risks. The rich may have access to bottled water and air purifiers, but can they truly live in a bubble forever? We need to understand that the environment is not a commodity to be traded or bought. It’s our shared responsibility to care for it. 🌱 The struggles of the underprivileged remind us of the urgency to act. They face the harshest impacts of climate change and environmental degradation, often with little means to fight back. We must raise our voices for them and advocate for a cleaner, greener future for everyone. So, let's come together regardless of our financial backgrounds and take collective action. 🌏 Let’s plant trees, reduce plastic usage, support clean energy initiatives, and educate ourselves and others about sustainable practices. Remember, the fight for our environment is not just for the present but for future generations. If we want our children and grandchildren to inherit a healthy planet, we must all put in equal efforts, regardless of our status. Together, we can make a difference. Let’s be the change we wish to see in the world.

When it comes to achieving your dream career, it's important to remember a few key things. First, focus on taking care of your own expenses and responsibilities before diving into pursuing your dream job. This may mean earning money through other means to pay for bills and rent or taking on a stable job to get by. Next, take the time to research and explore different career options that align with your passions and interests. Don't rush into any decisions and be open to learning and growing in different fields. Finally, be patient and persistent in your pursuit of your dream career. It may take time and effort, but with dedication and hard work, you can make it a reality.

As Zambia grapples with a devastating drought, it faces the prospect of a "Hunger Season." The shortage of maize flour, a staple food, has been exacerbated by last year's significant export of maize to the DRC Congo. This rain season represented the final opportunity for Zambian farmers to avert a severe hunger crisis, yet the current drought conditions cast doubt on their ability to do so. In addressing this pressing issue, one potential solution lies in the establishment and enhancement of food banking initiatives. Our recent exploration in Kafue with the Global FoodBanking Network revealed a startling abundance of surplus food that often goes to waste at a named chain store, highlighting the potential for food banking to mitigate the impact of food scarcity. While it may not serve as a comprehensive solution to hunger, expanding our food banking capabilities can help buffer against the shocks of food insecurity.

Ever tried making a 🍹 cocktail with the wrong ingredients? It's a tongue disaster, right? Do you think trying a second cocktail with a better mix but no recipe will work any better? Wrong again. Do you think that mixing and matching different ingredients, losing some, adding some will do the trick? Wrong again! The same goes for your team. Invest in your current and potential talents. It’s like watering a plant 🌱—neglect it, and it’ll show, no matter how fancy the pot is; how many times you change its position; how many times you replace it and bring another…the plant needs water, sun, love, care and the right place at all times… sometimes, they also need the sweet talk… So what do we do? Tell you what: Create a culture that goes beyond benefits. Do not speak about benefits, when you are not paying. Do not show off the titles without payments and benefits. Show the package. Show the consistency. Show the numbers. Show your respect, not your presumptuous authority. Think of it as turning your office into Hogwarts 🏰. Make your best people even better (hello, Hermione!), and help your worst improve (sorry, Neville), while make a consistent effort to train everyone as you move along. Remember: You may have the vision, but you do not have the hands. You may have the money, but you do not have the approach. You may have the right skills, but you do not have the entire mix. And hey, if you keep hiring and promoting the worst, what do you think will happen to your stars? 🌠 If you are not paying your talents, while they are busting their a…off, what do you think they will do? When you are rejecting the best to get the worse because they know that key person to get them the job, what do you think this will do for your reputation? Create loyalty to get loyalty. Create opportunities to see that ROI up. Create long-term potential to achieve long-term progress. Bring the stars to train more stars. Treat your stars to treat them all like stars🌟 Remember, it’s all about balance. Don’t just sprinkle benefits, and dicsounts, like glitter on a cupcake—bake them 🎂into the batter - day 1️⃣ and show the package. And hey, if you want the package, you need to pay it. Otherwise, go to the mini market (no offense) and get yourself what you can afford. And then we will talk again, as you would still need to restructure and you need to pay three times up, my friend. So, you better do it right, first time around! #InvestInYourTeam #OfficeMagic #LoyaltyPaysOff #LongTermSuccess #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork Thank you credits Alvin Foo for the good for thought! #leadership #sustainability #nobelprize Great leadership is about building an organizational culture where your people invest in themselves, learning by doing, because all human beings are naturally endowed at no cost to us at birth with our capacity to think and continuously learn. First thing to learn by doing? Think. No life can survive without learning and adapting to environmental change. Homo sapiens are no different. Basic skills necessary to effectively learn or to learn how to learn anything? Proficiency in language and logic, rhetoric, and argumentation - read, write, and communicate by speech as for example in the political and legal conduct of democratic civil society and mainstream broadcast news media, mathematics, and training in the Socratic dialectic by the end of high school, philosophical inquiry being the most incisive. Learning how to ask the right questions by intuition and perceptive observation and how to get to plausible answers by analysis, synthesis, and interpretation or hermeneutics: what, why and what if, how? Be brutally intellectually honest with yourself. All of this by the time you are 18, the formative wonder years, gives you the ability of CRITICAL THINKING and the correct ATTITUDE, PERSONAL DISCIPLINE, and HONESTY with yourself toward approaching life, including reflecting and understanding your own emotions, your CONSCIENCE. Specialized education and skill training only structures and formalizes the natural learning process. Instead of ingenuity such as this, human beings, including the highest educated, wealthy, and powerful, as a social more, in all societies without exception, demonstrate the extraordinarily dishonest ingenuity of fools, by being fools with each other doing everything else except propriety, to acquire status and not stature by being bullies and strong unreasonable men, the short cut. In the end game, there are no short cuts in life, except the mastery of the art of the game whose sole purpose is survival within the planetary boundaries. As we gear up for the Summit of the Future I’m committed to making sure you play a strong role in it.
