US Presidential Elections 2024 “rhetorics” are shifting some “personal” POVs. I have personally developed a sense of immunity against Donald Trump’s rhetoric. Following closely, I am handling his comments much better than before. Or has he trained to be able to improve his rhetoric to reach to a bare minimum of the expectations of normalcy? Or maybe it is that his opponent Kamala Harris is upholding an echoing rhetoric of his, that’s equalizing the discourse, making his previous controversial remarks seem less extreme and automatically making him look “better” for those he once irritated. If so he wins. <that being said doesn’t exclude other factors for sure, including our incline to view the imprints of US foreign policy, with the new presidential term, on our region, which is extravasting with endless bloodshed, among ongoing explosive extremism. Trump rises again. This highlights a core principle of democracy: the will of the people must prevail, no matter the views of those in power. You cannot simply disregard the collective will of poeple as rogue and manipulate the system to install those seen as more “suitable” by the ones residing in power circles.
