Raising awareness of rare diseases & conditions #2q24.2 Advocating for my daughter MA Archaeology UCC Opinions my own
💬Don't miss the chance to make your voice heard! Take the new #Rare Barometer survey on the impact of rare conditions in everyday life... What challenges or barriers have you encountered in the areas of services, care, education, employment, community and independent living for yourself or a family member. This is an opportunity to influence change at a European and national level by helping to create a powerful advocacy tool. Past surveys have had up to 13000 respondents 💥📝 It's so important we get as many respondents living in Ireland as possible. Persons living with a rare condition in Ireland are coming up against significant challenges and barriers to adequate care and support. We need to highlight this and the #RareBarometer will be a powerful tool to help us advocate for action. Hunger and food insecurity remain pressing issues, particularly in low-income communities where access to nutritious food is often limited. The challenge of ensuring everyone has enough to eat is multifaceted, involving economic, social, and logistical hurdles. While the challenge of ending hunger and food insecurity is significant, it is not insurmountable. By embracing the principle that everyone can help someone, we can build a robust network of support that ensures all members of our community have access to nutritious food. Whether through direct action, advocacy, or innovation, every contribution brings us one step closer to a world without hunger.
