Invest in upskilling 3. Focus on well-being initiatives Result: 16% increase in engagement at my last company. The key? Meeting people where they are. Talent is out there. Spending the morning with Sam Wolkenhauer from Idaho Department of Labor running through workforce demographics at the Innovia Foundation leadership conference. One of the best summaries was the need to take a "calibrated and intertwined approach to workforce development." yep. This "shortage" is no longer a shortage of workers. this is how it will be.
