Today is 'Time to Talk Day', encouraging the nation to have more conversations about mental health, run by Mind. A simple conversation has the power to make a difference! We take the mental health of our colleagues, seriously. As well as access to counselling sessions and a GP line for all colleagues, we have 5 colleagues that volunteer as Mental Health First Aiders, and are on hand to anyone across the society. 1-4 of us will experience mental health problems in any given year and all too often it's easier to tell people we're 'fine' than it is to say how we really feel. Let's reduce stigma, have those conversations and empower people to seek help when they need it. #TimeToTalkDay #mentalhealth #mhfa

Mental health is a public health issue that needs to be urgently addressed, through easy and affordable access to necessary treatments and the elimination of stigma. According to data published by the European Commission in 2023, mental and behavioral disorders are the second leading cause of death among young people. If you need help or know someone who may need it, don’t wait until is too late, speak up! Each of us is unique and unrepeatable. We need you.
