We Run Oakland: For Children was formed because of the high incidence of trafficking in the city of Oakland and Alameda County. However, this issue is not unique to Oakland - the perils of trafficking impact many communities in CA and the United States. No matter what country, state, county, or city you live in, we should all share the humanitarian goal of protecting one another, especially the most vulnerable.
