Here's a simple but delicious meal. To make the chicken tenders really crispy, use Panko bread crumbs. Pour the crumbs into a gallon freezer bag with little air left inside after closing. Run a rolling pin over the crumbs to make them smaller. Season with chicken bullion powder, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Since the chicken bullion powder is salty, no more is needed. An egg and milk wash then coat the tenders in the breading. Press the breading into the tenders firmly. Set aside until ready to fry. A good frying oil at 350 degrees will cook the tenders quickly. 3-4 minutes per side. Drain excess oil in paper towels. Use your favorite dipping sauce. I use my own BBQ sauce. Enjoy!

You didn't know your favorite meal until you tried Ryan's Instant Porridge. Here is how to whip up this delicious meal: 1. Add 4 tablespoons of flour into a cup or bowl. 2. Add a small amount of cold water to the flour. Note: • The water should not exceed half the capacity of the cup/bowl. • Add more cold water where necessary to ensure sufficient mixing of the flour with water. 3. Stir well and uniformly to form a thick lump free paste. Note: • While stirring, make sure to reach the flour that is at the bottom of the cup/bowl. 4. To the paste, add hot water in bits as you stir, until you achieve your desired consistency. Note: • You may use hot milk as an alternative to hot water. 5. Add a sweetener or flavouring of your choice. 6. Your porridge is now ready to serve. #ryansinstantporridge #1minutemadeporridge #nutritioninaflash #Mambonichapchap

With school back in session, let’s talk lunch safety! 🍎 To keep homemade lunches fresh, pack them in a soft-sided insulated bag with at least two cold sources. You can use two frozen gel packs or a frozen juice box and water bottle. Place these cold sources on both the top and bottom of the food to keep everything cool and safe at 40°F or below. For hot meals like soup or chili, use an insulated container. Preheat it with boiling water, then add your hot food and keep it sealed until lunchtime. Don’t forget to discard leftovers, used packaging, and paper bags after lunch to avoid contamination. For a no-refrigeration option, try whole fruits, hard cheese, canned meats, chips, and more. #TalkingHSEQTuesday #BacktoSchool #SafeLunch #HSEQinEverythingWeDo #DexterraGroup

I love beetroot! It has a lovely earthy flavour with a sweetness when roasted. It also turns your pee pink, which is hilarious to small children. Here's why beetroot is so good for you! 3 ways to use it... 1. Juice - delicious blended with apple or orange juice. Also good with a dash of celery juice & root ginger. 2. Vegetable - grate coarsely, heat through in a pan with a little olive oil and either garlic or orange rind. 3. Roast - this is my favourite! Roast with a drizzle of oil, salt & pepper. On its own or with other roots. Eat as roasted vegetables or make into Roasted Root Soup, by simmering in either chicken or veg stock & blending.
