Dear Recruiters, In today's world, it's crucial to remember that people are more than just their resumes. While experience is undoubtedly essential, there are times when it's not enough to qualify a person. I have been fortunate to work with a diverse range of coworkers and have seen many talented individuals not get a chance because their experience wasn't well represented on their resume. Moreover, we should keep in mind that if a person grows in their career quickly, it's a sign of their high potential to be a great fit for the role you're hiring for. So, let's not wait for the number of years of experience and give people a chance to showcase their skills and potential. Let's not limit our search to resumes only. Instead, let's look for the potential and talent present in individuals and give them the opportunity to shine. Remember, experience is essential, but it's not the only thing that makes a great candidate. #Recruitment #HiringProcess #TalentAcquisition #DiversityandInclusion

I hear from job seekers almost daily that they are trying their best to find a new role, but they aren't getting emails or calls in response to their applications and resume submittals. I hear from hiring managers almost daily that they can't get the right talent to apply to their positions. I'm just a recruiter begging hiring managers to work closely with their recruiting teams to start identifying transferrable skills in the available candidates. Stop making this harder than it has to be. This isn't going to solve all of your hiring challenges, but it's going to open up a candidate pool that's going to help you fill a lot of your open positions. #hiring #recruiting #transferableskills

‘I was interviewed for a JOB. It is more than a month, the recruiter is not responding.’ I get a lot of messages like this on LinkedIn. I see that recruiters knowingly don’t respond to candidates. To all HRs, if a candidate is not eligible atleast send them a rejection email or notify them to not wait. So many jobseekers are applying for jobs and thinking that you will select them. They will get a job easily. Because of this process, candidates waste a lot of their time. If you send them a rejection email, they can start applying for other jobs and companies. Don’t leave candidates handing. #jobs #hiring #candidates #companies #recruiter

Re: Recruiting anomaly of open positions vs so many resumes are not selected (including my own) My gut tells me that AI is a big part of the problem. Language is creative, and there are a multitude of words or ways to express the same message. But, if you don’t use the exact word AI is looking for, your resume gets rejected. It’s lazy recruiting for sure to rely on AI to select the resumes! Think about this: Albert Einstein’s resume would not be selected today, because AI would not be programmed to select it, as AI’s programmer wouldn’t know the words to describe anything within Albert Einsteins thought process or experience. Are we dumbing down the world with AI? I fear we are, not because of AI, but because we can not identify to a computer what we are actually looking for. All great employees are creative, out of the box thinkers, and have soft skills that are hard to quantify. Are you looking for them, or people who mimic back to you what you say? Imitation is a form of flattery, are you looking for flattery or for the right candidate and/or solutions to your needs? IMHO

🤝 Trusted Staffing Solutions for Leading Environmental Services Firms 🌍 | Pairing In-Demand Talent with Their Dream Opportunities 🚀
Job seekers are tired of receiving job pitches that don’t align with their interests. The message below shows this perception clearly. Important to note that I didn’t send any job postings to this person—this was their reaction to a connect request. Whiterock was created to prove this perception wrong. Here’s how: Our process always starts by understanding your goals and what you want in your next role through a detailed conversation. Only after we fully understand your aspirations do we present opportunities that fit your needs. Every time. My steadfast mission is to provide you with the best recruiting experience you’ve ever had. If I don’t achieve that, I’ve failed. The future of recruitment is BRIGHT! One conversation at a time, our commitment to putting candidates first will become the industry standard, not the exception. 🤝💪🌟 #Recruitment #JobSearch #CareerGrowth #CandidateExperience #Hiring #TalentAcquisition #JobSeeker
