The State Opening of Parliament takes place tomorrow, Wednesday 17 July, marking the formal start of the parliamentary year. The King’s Speech, also known as the ‘Speech from the Throne’, is written by the government and sets out upcoming legislation and planned state visits. The House of Lords gets to work straight after the King’s Speech. Personal Slogans now Banned During Parliament. A new directive by the Speaker of Parliament now requires all Members of Parliament (MPs) to take the official oath without any personal slogans, modifications, or added remarks. This change is aimed at ensuring that the oath remains a solemn affirmation of the Constitution, free from any individual expressions or affiliations. While this directive promotes strict adherence to the constitutional text, it also raises important questions about the balance between maintaining parliamentary decorum and respecting MPs' freedom of expression. By enforcing this rule, the Speaker reinforces the importance of unity and formality in the parliamentary process, but it may also be seen as limiting the personal expression of the elected representatives. The implications of this change could be far-reaching, especially considering that non-compliance could lead to suspension from Parliament. Although knowing that it is punishable by death for treason to the English King, signers signed the Declaration of Independence willingly! According to the historian David Barton, 29 out of 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence have a seminary degree. Also, 34% of the original quoted source to draft the U.S. Constitution referenced the bible! So, how did the U.S. government turn so secular and Godless? It is poisoned by the misinformation book "The Godless Constitution" taught to your elected liberal judges since 1996! Also, the U.S. is not a democracy aka anarchy but a republic under God's law, and if no such law then it is under the will of the people by election. We the people means the Judges, Congress, Senators, and even POTUS are aka public servants because they are subject to the will of the people (election). --Not the other way around (Big Brother Government!) So go vote!

Govt Set to Approve 22 Constitutional Amendments https://lnkd.in/gyBHsx3v The federal government is on the verge of approving a comprehensive package of constitutional amendments through the National Assembly and Senate, with over 22 amendments expected to be introduced. According to reports, the NA session summoned for 3 PM has further been delayed to 10 PM today as the government moves to confirm their numbers are intact for the introduction of constitutional amendments. Article 93 says “The House of the People shall, as soon as may be, choose two members…to be…Speaker and Deputy Speaker…and, so often as the office of Speaker or Deputy Speaker becomes vacant, the House shall choose another member…” Article 178 contains the corresponding position for Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of a state. Is it mandatory to have a Deputy Speaker? Constitutional experts point out that both Articles 93 and 178 use the word “shall”, indicating that the election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker is mandatory under the Constitution.

From far too many people including purported "Republicans", of all people, we keep hearing and seeing the phrase of, "our Democracy", etc. If I was wired to be able to be "driven crazy" as the saying goes, this would surely have done so years ago. Thank God I'm not wired as such; quite the contrary, actually. Most tellingly, we've seen the use of that phrase skyrocket, especially since 2020. Surprise! Or not? This nation absolutely is ("barely-still", in my opinion) a Constitutional Republic albeit via elected representatives hence a Constitutional Representative Republic. My theory for some time now has been that, those intent upon fully shredding this Republic's founding principles and founding documents including the Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, Constitution and particularly the foundational concept of "God-given Rights" *above and informing it all*, ...have very deliberately been incessantly repeating the phrase of "our Democracy". Think about it. And consider those you know who may very well have been playing a role of unwitting tools helping further promulgate this falsehood and therefore, effective lie. +++ But that's just what I think might be the case. What does everyone else think? #surveysays
With everything going on, I think it’s important to remember We The People have a responsibility to uphold, defend and protect our constitution. More importantly, Enforce it. “That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

The USA Constitution established a federal democratic republic form of government. Federalism is a system of government in which the same territory is controlled by two levels of government. Generally, an overarching national government is responsible for broader governance of larger territorial areas, while the smaller subdivisions, states, and cities govern the issues of local concern. (It is very much the same as a federated business model.) Under this Frederation governance we have an indivisible union of 50 sovereign States. It is a democracy because people govern themselves. It is representative because people choose elected officials by free and secret ballot. It is a republic because the Government derives its power from the people and the laws. No one person is above the laws of the kind. Let's hope our Supreme Court remembers this. https://lnkd.in/gjMiRiUj

On September 17, 1787, delegates to the Constitutional Convention adopted the United States Constitution. Broken into seven articles, the Constitution defines the form and function of the American government. Its first three articles embody the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the president; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five, and Six describe concepts of federalism—that is, the rights and responsibilities of state governments and the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure used by the thirteen states to ratify the Constitution.
