Today we are highlighting Tyler Lambert, our Social Media Specialist. Tyler joined our organization a year and half ago and plays a vital role in educating our audience about animal welfare and answering questions from our supporters. “While working in animal welfare can be mentally and physically taxing, the sense of accomplishment and achievement you feel once victories have been made is unlike no other and it is a constant reminder of why we are all here.” Interested in joining us? "If we are going to accomplish the goals that we want to accomplish in animal welfare, we need to keep people healthy," says Michael Keiley from MSPCA-Angell in Boston. "The sort of constant turnover of staff and things that are lost along the way means that we're always kind of catching up rather than moving forward." As professionals in the field, it is crucial for us to uphold our ethical values while helping our human clients with animal training and behaviour. While it may be challenging, we must strive to find a balance between advocating for kindness and compassion and supporting animal welfare. By engaging with clients involved in activities we disagree with, we have the opportunity to educate and influence positive change. However, it is important to establish clear boundaries and communicate our concerns respectfully. Ultimately, our goal should be to prioritise the well-being of the animals involved. Where do you stand when working with these ethical dilemmas? #EthicsAndMorals #BalanceAndAdvocacy #AnimalWelfare #TheDoGeniusInstitute
