We've encountered several instances where candidates accept an offer, agree on a joining date, and then back out with various excuses. I believe it's crucial for candidates to be clear about their goals when joining a company. While salary is important, it shouldn't be the sole reason for taking a job. There’s been a number of articles tracking the revitalization of attraction to trade Jobs by Gen Zrs. But outside of that, two other sectors are looking attractive to them: 1. Healthcare 2. Government Tech is off the list for many Gen Zrs as it’s a sector that is not seen as the force of good it once was, and tech layoffs have changed the perception of job security. GenZrs want to do good, be treated well and minimize their chances of getting laid off. This tracks with my own experience raising two of them (one pursuing a trade and the other hoping to find government related work)
