Just doing things right..
I have never been this excited about a product launch. Cotopaxi just launched #renovo. It's our first fully upcycled collection. A majority - over 60% - of Cotopaxi products use deadstock, which is CRITICAL for decoupling the fashion and apparel sector from fossil fuels. But, we're not done. We feel that Cotopaxi can best serve the world by being a case study. Our design team, led by our in-resident creative genius, Liz (Boltin) Peixoto has developed a holistic approach that considers sustainability at every major decision point. From concept to fabric to manufacturing, every choice a designer and sourcing expert makes contributes to a brand's negative and positive impact. Learning to design from waste instead of producing it takes a whole different approach. We're thrilled to lean into these fashion-forward, waste-using styles with help from a female-owned B Corp, Portland Garment Factory. Get them while they're available! We've already almost sold out in one day! The demand is THERE. <3 Huge congrats to Em Givens, Maxine Maroun, Margot Brendlinger, Brad Hiranaga, and more! Renovo. : https://lnkd.in/g6w3eBYF

Yesterday was an exciting day for Faslet at #EmerceLive. We had the chance to catch up with many of our #apparel and #footwear clients and partners! A recurring theme in the presentations we attended was #returns. It's a pressing issue in our industry and also our focus. Sizing assistant like SizeMeUp, by Faslet are gaining traction, helping the apparel market tackle this challenge head-on. It's inspiring to see the market embrace innovative sizing assistants to reduce returns. Another takeaway was the shift from revenue growth to profit growth. In the current economic climate, businesses are focusing more on #profitability. It's a crucial pivot that many are making to ensure #sustainable success. Akeneo: The Product Experience Company shared an some statistic from a Loop survey: returns can impact a business by up to 66% of the product's price 📉. Moreover, 96% of customers review a retailer's return policy before making an online purchase 🛍️. These insights underline the importance of a robust return strategy. Of course, the event was packed with even more insights and learnings, not only from the presentations but also from great conversations with several of our partners and clients! Jimmy Van Der Pas , Floris Boon, Leonie Lammers, Bodine de Ruijter, Richard Schenderling, Dylan Laseur, Quinten Muller, Bob Rockland, Arjen Bultje, Marvin Molenaar, Robin Alcedo Overbosch, Berend Jonckers, Jeroen Strijdveen, dietlev maertens, Christiaan de Jong, Joachim Dircke and many more! The day ended on a high note with a unofficial afterparty organized by Rachel Jacobs 🇺🇦. It was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible event. Thanks, Rachel, and see you all soon! And who knows? Next year, you might just see Faslet leading a roundtable discussion 😉
