Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM)’s Post

Phil Morgan, IPEM Chief Executive, will leave the organisation later this year to take up the role of Chief Executive at the Biochemical Society.    Dr. Anna Barnes FIPEM, IPEM President, commented:   “The Board of Trustees will begin working to appoint a new Chief Executive who can take IPEM to the next level and ensure that we are an organization that values, promotes, and develops our members and the essential professions they work in across healthcare, academia, and industry.   “We thank Phil for his years of excellent service and for all that he has achieved to move IPEM forward and wish him all the best for the future. IPEM is in a strong position, expanding as an organization, and increasing our reach, influence, and impact. Our exciting and ambitious strategy focuses on our vision of developing the profession, improving healthcare, and transforming lives together. Phil has worked hard to build a strong and effective management team, including Deputy CEO Claire Sharpe, and I am confident that we will maintain our momentum in the year ahead.”    More information on the search arrangements will be available in due course. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to IPEM.
