Great news! The EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive has been adopted and published in the EU journal. What does this mean for EU building stock? ✔️New buildings will have to be net-zero by 2030. ✔️Existing buildings must reach a certain level of energy performance through renovation. ✔️Improvement and access to data sharing on a buildings’ performance. ✔️Incentives to deploy digital solutions, including building modeling and simulation technologies to improve planning, designing, building, and renovations. The next two years are an opportunity for EU countries to create a more resilient and sustainable built environment with the help of technology solutions. Learn more about the directive at https://bit.ly/3yovEB3. At Autodesk, we’ll be working with the EuroACE - Energy Efficient Buildings, BPIE - Buildings Performance Institute Europe, and others to support implementation. Together we can design and make a better world for all! #AEC #Sustainability #Software #AEC
