3️⃣ Three things I predict will be huge for recruiters and talent teams in 2024. 📈 Data and Reporting I spoke about this a lot last year and I’ll continue to shout about it this year too. Senior leadership are demanding more from TAs and the industry as a whole is getting smarter about data. It’s not enough to track the basics. The key is turning the data you have into unique insights for your audience – your team, hiring managers, and C-Suite all need different things. 🙋🏼♀️ Hiring Manager Experience Hiring managers are so often an afterthought in the recruitment process, and yet they’re central to every recruitment process. They need the right training, communications, and tools to do their job well. Creating a great hiring manager experience is just as important as creating a great candidate experience – I expect this to be a huge focus for TAs in 2024. 💻 Workflow Automation & Technology One of the biggest pain points we hear from recruiters is the sheer volume of admin they’re trying to manage. Manual systems cannot keep up with the speed and scale at which candidates are applying today. In 2024 we’ll continue to see rapid development in the technological capabilities of the tools recruitment teams use to automate their work. Quick iCIMS tip, as I work through replacing a legacy dropdown field with a new profile field in every report on a client's dashboard. If you know the name of the profile, you can get to those nested fields by using the following format "Profile Name" space "Field Name". You can use a space, colon, period, dash, etc. to separate the two. When time is money and clicking into dropdowns / scrolling is tedious, this could be a life saver! In my example, I am on a Recruiting Workflow search, pulling an attribute (Name) from a Profile Link field (Company) assigned on the associated Requisition. Typing the syntax saves me 5 clicks and lots of scrolling ... for each of the over 50 reports I am updating!
