The manager of Claims – Health Plans at Samaritan Health Services position posting was quite thorough in its description of job expectations and qualification requirements; however, the posting could be better organized. The section titled "About the job" appears to mostly describe the products and services offered by the company rather than information about the job itself, except for the final bullet point. The Job Summary/Purpose section could also be better structured. If this section were laid out in bullet points rather than paragraphs, the information would appear more organized and present the job duties to potential candidates more clearly. The Department Description section is also not well structured. This section is merely a copy and paste of the "About the job" section without bullet points. Based upon the title of this section I would expect to learn something about the internal organizational structure rather than the products that are offered. The EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES sections are very well structured. Potential candidates can easily identify the requirements set forth by the poster to qualify for the position. From a potential candidate's perspective, it would have been beneficial to have the entirety of the posting structured in this manner. Having clear job expectations and qualifications outlined in the job description helps potential candidates determine if they have the skills and experience to apply for the position.

Medical billing might seem as a complex process with a lot of steps to follow, but here we show that the process is shorter than it looks like at plain sight. 1. Patient’s registration 2. Financial responsibility 3. Check-in/check-out 4. Compliance and Claims 5. Adjudication 6. Statement 7. Payments and collections For us, each case requires the proper detail attention in order to avoid any future inconvenience and improve the results taking the reimbursement to its highest. Medical billing is more than creating claims and sending statements to collect payments. This process requires attention to details, as when a claim is sent to an insurance provider, it must include the proper information requested by the insurance company and it also requires proper documentation on why the service was needed. At RMS, we will take care of all these details in order to take your practice to new heights. Let's CoSource! Find out how your practice/facility can save thousands in loss revenue by simply CoSourcing parts of your processes. ✨ I wanted to share something we’ve noticed while working with other physiotherapists. We’ve realized how important it is to have an efficient system for scheduling and following up on appointments. Sometimes, a simple follow-up can make the difference between a cancellation or ensuring the patient shows up, which clearly impacts revenue. 💡 Additionally, we’ve helped several healthcare professionals reduce operational costs in areas like data entry, insurance verification, and patient reactivation. By optimizing these processes and generating more appointments, some have saved between $80k and $100k per year. 💰📈 If you’d like more ideas on how to improve these processes, feel free to reach out! 🙌 #HealthcareSolutions #VirtualAssistants #TimeSavings #CostReduction #Productivity #BusinessGrowth #Physiotherapy #InsuranceVerification #PatientReactivation

A repost of the WorkCompWire article by Genex's Tammy Bradly, Senior Director of Clinical Product Marketing. She highlights the importance of care coordination when transitioning catastrophically injured workers between healthcare settings or providers. Bradly states that communication and preparation between all parties is paramount; reducing medical errors, preventing unnecessary re-hospitalizations, honoring the injured employee’s preferences and decisions, and avoiding duplication of processes and services. Focusing on five key areas: 1. Goals- Short and long-term medical needs of the injured employee need to be detailed and reviewed by both parties for a seamless transition. 2. Level of care- Is the receiving provider/family prepared and properly equipped to handle all the complex needs of the injured worker? Durable Medical Equipment and possible home modifications might be needed for safe patient transfers. 3. Continuity of Care- Coordination of pharmaceuticals, therapy, and other treatments for an optimal transition during patient transfer. 4. Scheduling follow up care with specialists, and other healthcare providers. 5. Social Determinants of Health (SDoH)- Addressing social, emotional and financial needs prior to discharge can reduce stress and anxiety. https://lnkd.in/egYvK3VG Already 1 of the most expensive states to live in...I and millions more must prepare for a 12% increase in cost. What drive Gov Hochul to approve this? 1) Increase cost of medical care 2) Skyrocketing Drug Cost For me personally...for my family coverage ALONE...that's about a 3500 increase per year. Wonder how this would be different if PBMs were actually reigned in. This increase in cost nullify's, for any employee, ANY raise they could or would get at a job.
