We wore overalls this week to honor Jones Center founder Harvey Jones on what would have been his 124th birthday. Harvey Jones was a tireless Springdale philanthropist and entrepreneurial force who gave back his entire adult life. He owned and operated Jones Truck Lines — the largest privately owned truck line in the U.S. — yet he was humble and unpretentious, wearing his trademark overalls to work and never losing sight of helping others. We are inspired by his legacy. #morelikehim #humbleandgenerous #DowntownSpringdale #NorthwestArkansas

Harvey Jones is the father of philanthropy in NWA. Funding the Springdale Memorial Hosptial and paying teachers when the School District couldn’t make payroll.

This feels like an amazing tradition in the making!

An inspiring family indeed. Harvey and Bernice Jones helped to cement the work ethic of Springdale. Can I say "Bravo"!
