So, when a position or a role is opened and published, budget is already known and approved. Please DO NOT say that Budget is open depending upon candidate’s current compensation or Budget is not yet known! Yes, it is possible that Budget has a range, but then do let the candidate know the maximum range for him/her to upfront make a decision to apply for the particular role or not! If you do not know, Ask your clients or Hiring Managers very clearly on the Budget and Requirements, without which you should not publish those roles!! This will save a lot of time for Everyone - Client / HM, Candidate and Yourself, and you will have less walk aways and better conversion rates!
