Is there a crisis in young people's mental health? The formative years are incredibly important for wellbeing and mental health--working as a therapist has taught me that. 👉 Adolescence is a time of massive biological, psychological, and social development, and disruptions to those developments can be so destabilising. 👉 What complex factors are working together to drive the higher rates of mental ill health that have been seen in adolescents recently, and what can we do about it? 💡 These are big questions, so they deserve big answers. 🙏It's been such a pleasure to work with Patrick McGorry and the team on this Commission on youth mental health for Lancet Psychiatry. We're hoping it will help to create big changes.

Does the review cover the role of young people’s diet? There is mounting evidence that UPF through gut microbiome changes may be playing a much larger role than we previously considered.

Would you and Patrick McGorry be interested in talking about this with me for CBC Radio in Canada?
