A great example of how one PA city is trying to find solutions to child care: Gould's report lays out the argument and a plan for significantly improving child care for the youngest residents of the city. “Becoming a trailblazing American city offering child care to all desiring parents and guardians of infants and toddlers is tantamount to Erie's moonshot,” Gould writes in the report’s executive summary. Why we love early childhood education properties: projected sector growth and federal backing. 🌟 The global Early Childhood Education Market was estimated at USD 245 Billion in 2019 and is expected to reach USD 480 Billion by 2026. 🌟 The American Families Plan will make transformational investments from early childhood to post-secondary education so that all children and young people are able to grow, learn, and gain the skills they need to succeed. It will provide universal, high-quality preschool to all three- and four-year-olds. Regarding our Children of America property in Lakewood, Illinois specifically, it is a strong real estate investment due to the state of Illinois' assistance in childcare costs. Katherine Clark's leadership on improving our nation's #childcare system (learn more @ https://lnkd.in/gqXxBfiA). Child care is fundamental to our economy and requires investment in the facilities and providers central to the ECE ecosystem. By investing in high-quality, accessible child care, this bill supports working parents and helps ensure that every child gets a strong start in life.     As a #CDFI with a 25-year track record of investing over half a billion dollars in the ECE sector to create or better 405,000 child care spaces, LIIF is eager to work to ensure these funds reach the providers and families that need them most.
