🚀SpaceX Falcon Heavy successfully launched NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Psyche mission from Kennedy Space Center's LC-39A in Florida. It was a remarkable fourth launch for the side boosters, which have previously powered USSF-44, USSF-67, and Hughes JUPTER 3 missions. The Psyche spacecraft embarks on an unparalleled journey to study a metal-rich asteroid, aptly named Psyche, nestled between Mars and Jupiter. This mission allows NASA to delve deeper into our solar system's history by studying the nickel-iron core of an early planet - reminiscent of our own solar system's nascent stages. 💫 Also noteworthy is NASA’s debut test of the Deep Space Optical Communications (DSOC) system that enables high-bandwidth optical communication in deep space. This major milestone sends us surging ahead in our understanding of the cosmos. #space #innovation #NASA #SpaceX

THEY CAUGHT IT! This is the first launch of SpaceX’s Starship where they successfully catch the first stage back at the landing site on the launch towers' arms (aka the chopsticks). The second stage continues into a slightly sub-orbital trajectory, where it goes for a soft targeted landing in the Indian Ocean roughly an hour later; this time with significantly less melting thanks to the upgraded heat shield. Josh Standerfer says this is huge. “With SpaceX success in completing the full profile, it marks a major step forward for the demonstration of rapid reusability in heavy-class rockets.“ Ad astra.

🔋🔋🔋 The Battery Show
Target lubrication orifices are used in mechanical systems like transmissions or eAxles to lubricate and cool hot spots on gear meshes, bearings, rotors, stator stacks or any place that requires it. As the automotive industry transitions to electric vehicles, this poses a challenge for these target lubrication orifices as the system pressures are lower in these EV systems. To demonstrate our solution for this challenge we created this Targeting Orifice Demo 👇🏻
