Family is the cornerstone of a healthy life, offering support, love, and a sense of belonging. It's in the embrace of family that we find comfort during tough times and joy in moments of celebration. Together, we encourage each other to make healthy choices, stay active, and maintain a balanced lifestyle.Precious moments with family are the golden threads that weave our life stories. Whether it's a shared meal, a heart-to-heart conversation, or a spontaneous adventure, these moments create lasting memories. They remind us of the simple joys and the importance of being present. It's these times that fill our hearts and fortify our spirits, grounding us in what truly matters.Sunshine, both literal and metaphorical, plays a vital role in a healthy, happy life. Physically, the sun provides essential vitamin D, boosting our immune systems and lifting our moods. Metaphorically, the sunshine represents the bright, positive moments that bring light into our lives. It symbolizes hope, warmth, and the promise of new beginnings. Fill Your Own Cup First ☕ August 1st: A fresh start. 🌱 We're often so focused on pouring into others that we forget to fill our own cups. It's like trying to water a plant with an empty watering can - it just doesn't work. Whether you're a caregiver, a high-achiever, or simply someone who puts others first, it's crucial to prioritize self-care. 💌 When we're constantly drained, it's impossible to show up as our best selves. Burnout, stress, and resentment can creep in, affecting not only our personal lives but also our professional performance. 🏃♂️ So, what fills your cup? Is it spending time in nature, indulging in a hobby, or simply unplugging from the digital world? Remember, self-care isn't selfish; it's essential. Let's make this month a commitment to prioritizing our well-being. Share your self-care rituals below. Let's inspire and support each other on this journey to a happier, healthier you 🤝 #selfcare #mentalhealth #fillyourowncup #prioritizeyourself #selfcare #mentalhealth #fillyourowncup #prioritizeyourself #wellbeing #mindfulness #balance #loveyourself #personalgrowth #inspiration #motivation #happiness #positivevibes #selflove #selfcompassion #kindness #gratitude #healthylifestyle #worklifebalance #innerpeace #stressrelief #recharge #unplug #relax #metime #treatyourself #youmatter #selfcarematters #selfcareisntselfish #essential

As mums, we’re constantly balancing the many roles we play—whether it’s running the household, building our careers, or nurturing those we care about. Ever notice that one mum who always seems to have a smile on her face, no matter what? What’s her secret? It might seem like a stretch to keep yourself feeling happy and healthy every single day, but it’s entirely possible to build habits that help you create a life you love. Need some inspiration? Focus on the fun: Everyday tasks don’t have to be boring. Turn grocery shopping, laundry, or dishwashing into something enjoyable by cranking up the tunes, taking a dance break, or getting the kids involved to make it a game. Get outside: We’ve spent more than enough time at home in recent years. Even stepping into the backyard or taking a walk around the block can work wonders. Sunlight, fresh air, and a little nature boost happiness. Carve out ‘me’ time: Finding a few moments for yourself can feel impossible, but it’s essential for your wellbeing. Whether it’s a walk, reading a chapter of your favourite book, or soaking in a bubble bath, these moments are key to keeping that smile alive. Bend the rules: We’re so used to making the rules—why not break a few? Share a dessert before dinner or stay up late watching your favourite show with the kids. Sometimes, a little indulgence is exactly what you need. #mumlife #findyourjoy #everydaywellbeing #FridayFeels #MumLifeBalance #SelfCareForMums #HappyMumHappyLife #EmbraceTheChaos #PositiveParenting #FeelGoodFriday

Building in ways of making ourselves feel good is essential for a number of reasons. We need to positively reinforce the fantastic healthy changes we are making to encourage us to maintain them long term. We need to build in more appropriate ways of making ourselves feel better so that we can start automatically choose 15 minutes walk 🚶♀️to recharge our batteries as oppose to reach out to the pack of biscuits 🍪 in the kitchen. Most of the time it’s as simple as putting in a new habit to replace the old one, even better when the new habit is one that we really enjoy 💕. Why not spending 10 minutes to brainstorm some activities which you can build into your daily life that you enjoy and can use as your reward 🏆 / de-stresser / way of taking a break / boredom-reliever or just to have 5 minutes of indulgence? This time, my "feel good reward" was a facial treatment with back massage, something I find deeply relaxing and soothing and that I built in my life for the past 20 years 😍 What does it make you feel good? What does relaxed you or de-stress? What would like spend more time doing ? #selfcare #feelgoodrewards #metime #behavioralhealth #behavioralchange

Around this time of year I always remind my clients of this simple fact: It's not just what you do between Halloween and New Year's Eve that effect you. It's what you do from New Year's Day until New Year's Eve that effect you. Each and every day of the year you have a choice as to how to treat your body. Will you treat it better than you do your possessions and will you make it your top priority? Your thoughts are part of your daily consumption. Your emotions are part of your daily consumption. Learning to pivot your mindset to a higher vibration of positivity is a better diet choice than negativity, which is essentially junk food to your mind and body. Youtube can be a great tool for meditations of all all lengths and for any and all things that you would like to positively change within in your self. From achieving self love to purging pain, anger and sadness to healing all that ails you and calling your power back. All of these will increase your success in achieving the mind and body you desire from the inside out. Once the inside is happy and healthy, the body reflects that and will achieve total wellness, health and the look and feel you desire. Some reading that I always recommend to get you started on the total wellness journey: The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz Ho'oponopono: The Hawaiian Ritual of Forgiveness by Ulrich E. Duprée. Wishing you all a happy, healthy and holiday filled with high vibrations! And remember, Train L.A.S.T. be first!
